Within the Archaeological Park of Dion, sanctuaries from the Hellenistic and Roman periods have been discovered. The park highlights the historical importance of ancient Dion in the history of Pieria.
- St. Dionysius of Olympus - The Monastery of Agios Dionysios in Olympus is a Greek Orthodox monastery located on the slopes of Mount Olympus, and it is the most significant monastery in the Pieria Prefecture. Positioned at the Enipeas ravine at an altitude of 850 meters, the original monastery was founded in 1542 and was destroyed by the Germans in 1943.
Nearby, there is the cave of Saint Dionysius.

Breathtaking Views and Unparalleled Service - George was our tour guide. He was incredibly engaging, friendly and knowledgeable. Trip ran right on time and he knew all of the best places to stop. Honestly, by the end of the tour I felt like we had spent the day with a good friend. I would, without ANY hesitation at all, recommend this trip if you want to see the spectacular sights and soak in the history and pastoral countryside of Greece.

Top notch! - Our guide, Kostas Papastathis was fabulous! He was incredibly knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions in great detail. He also provided us with the names of several books that he thought we might like based on our questions. He really went above and beyond, especially with regard to my son who has a deep interest in Greek mythology. Easily the best day of our trip to Greece!

Prepare to walk and be immersed in history! - This was a wonderful excursion and we covered a LOT of ground in one day. The archaeological park and museums were great, the drive up Mount Olympus offered spectacular views and the walk through the gorge was wonderful. Best part was my guide Giorgo, who was professional, kind and charming. He answered many questions about local history and culture. Thank you Giorgo!

Amazing experience - This was one of the best excursions we could have done. Our driver Notis brought us to the typical sites that we and most others wanted to see which was great. But then gave us a more local experience by bringing us to a neighborhood cafe for traditional coffee and pastries and a great restaurant near mt Olympus for amazing food and service.
Worth every penny!

Great day trip in Thessaloniki - Company accommodated us on short notice (which they went far out of their way to do )with personal guide Barbara which I super highly recommend. She and driver andrew made the day trip awesome. Barbara was the best with information kindness and answered questions with great knowledge of all things Greek. Would always recommend this tour and request her !

Great tour to Dion and Mount Olympus - George was a marvelous guide! The trip was fantastic. Mount Olympus is to be experienced. The waterfalls, hermit churches, scenery, gorges, wildlife is wonderful. The ruins of the city of Dion at the bottom of the mountain are also exceptional. The condition is good and it is a vast city. There is much to see in the ruins. A great day tour.

A day dream trip! - This day trip was so amazing! George was a 5 star driver and guide. It was everything we hoped for, and the places he took us were a dream. Specially Dion and the 20 min walk on Mount Olympus!

Mount Olympus and more with a great Driver. - Great experience, I would highly recommend. Our driver was awesome. He gave us ample time at all the places we wanted to go. Great, friendly service. From a short hike on Mount Olympus, Dion, lunch/shopping in Litochoro, and more.

Mighty Olympus - Our Dion trip was cancelled because the site was closed due to Easter Holiday weekend. However, we enjoyed hiking up to the Mount Olympus and saw several waterfalls. The view was great.
