Thanks Helen! - Helen was wonderful. She picked us up at Murphys’ Bed and Breakfast in the pouring rain. She showed us the lookout on Conor’s pass so we could come back later. It was too foggy to see anything. Then we headed on the Slea Head road. What a beautiful drive. Helen showed us Skellig Michael (Star Wars) location and all of the locations spots where they shot “Ryan’s Daughter”. Helen is from Dingle and knew everything about it. She speaks Gaelic as well. The baby sheep and bee huts were not open but Helen spoke to the fella and he let us use the toilets. Then off to the most western pub and had a pint and spoke to the bartender who had spent some time in the states playing Gaelic Football. My dad has Alzheimer’s and sat in the front with Helen asking the same questions over and over and she was patient and wonderful. We really appreciated that. All in all this was one of the best moments of our trip. I love to be immersed with people who live locally. Highly recommend trip with Helen!!! Robin T

Great 4 hr drive around Dingle Peninsula. - We enjoyed an excellent private tour with Mosie in a luxurious and very clean van around the Dingle Peninsula a.k.a. Slea Head drive. First, we went to Connor Pass, where he gave us a great view of the area and told us about the geology and how the glaciers had created the peat bogs below. I was glad he was driving us around the peninsula since the roads were probably even more narrow than on the ring of Kary. The day was cloudy, but we had basically pretty good weather since other days it rained most of the time. We stopped off to see the beehive shaped dwellings of the early Celts, and he explained their lifestyle of clearing the fields and raising their animals. He took us to some spots that we might not have known to visit on our own and we enjoyed all of his stories and information. He took great care of us and was willing to accommodate any request. Overall, I would highly recommend this trip as a way to see the area.

A Wonderful First Experience of Ireland - We were so fortunate to spend our first days in Ireland in the delightful company of Mossie Scanlon. A responsible, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, Mossie took us out to the Dingle Peninsula where the breathtaking sights along the coast were accompanied by his extensive knowledge of the history of Dingle, both ancient and current and its connection to the wider story of the Irish people, their strength, their struggles and their spirit. He was also able to give us some fabulous recommendations for the best spots for good meals and wonderful music. On our final day, he helped us with transport to the Tarbert ferry that would take us to our next destination. We came away from those two trips feeling well taken care of, well introduced to the rich history of a place that was completely new to us days before, and with a new friend we hope to meet again. I cannot recommend Mossie's Tours highly enough

Amazing private tour of Dingle! - I cannot recommend this tour and Mossy enough. Mossy is so nice! As a local, he is intimately knowledgeable of the local history as well as the best spots for viewing, hiking, shopping, and ice cream! We spent six hours with him driving through the Dingle Peninsula and I was sad when it ended. He gave us a beautiful history and shared a beautiful poem with us -Slow Me Down, Lord. My only regret was not booking him for more tours during our short trip to Ireland! Thank you Mossy! You touched our hearts and we fell in love with Ireland. We can’t wait to come back and see Mossy again!

Nothing better than Mossie's - Never had a better tour anywhere. Mossie was pleasant, informed and anxious to design the tour based upon our interests. He took us to places few people go and provided helpful information along the way. All reviews rate Mossie's tours excellent and those reviews are accurate. We increased the number on our tour from 4 to 5 and thinking it may require a larger vehicle offered to pay more than the original quote. Not necessary. The van was perfect and the tour couldn't have been better. Pre tour arrangements were also handle perfectly. Go with Mossie's and you'll be glad you did. Fred P. USA
