The emperor is celebrated for his love of nature, and this complex reflects the Mughal connection between humans, animals, and hunting.
• Rohtas Fort - Rohtas Fort is a 16th-century fortress situated near the city of Dina in the Jhelum district of Punjab, Pakistan. The construction of the fort was overseen by Todar Mal, a minister of the Sur king Sher Shah Suri. It stands as one of the largest and most impressive forts in Punjab. The fort is remarkably well-preserved and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. UNESCO described it as an “exceptional example of the Muslim military architecture of Central and South Asia.”
