• Mbuyuni - This optional stop is highly rewarding. You will visit the local school, especially when classes are not in session, and witness the gratitude of the school children towards visitors. If you have any educational materials to donate, please bring them along. Taking photographs with the children is discouraged.
• Jembe Giriama Dance Group - Upon arrival at the village, you will be warmly welcomed by the locals. You will have the opportunity to dance with them and learn about their way of life. They will invite you into their homes and demonstrate how they prepare local delicacies like ugali, process cashew nuts, and climb palm trees to harvest traditional wine.
• Mwamanga - You will visit a traditional herbalist and learn about the local herbs used to treat various ailments. These practices are still in use today.
