Full Day from Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park

Tsavo West National Park - After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive as you depart Tsavo West and head towards Amboseli. The drive takes approximately 3 hours.

You also have the option to visit a Maasai village, offering an immersive experience of Maasai culture, complete with dancing and jumping.

Amboseli National Park - Known for its elephant herds and other members of the Big Five, as well as the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro, Amboseli National Park awaits. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive, and stay late to witness the golden hues of the Amboseli sunset.

Morning Game Drive in Amboseli and Return to Drop-off Location

Amboseli National Park - After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive before beginning your return journey to your drop-off location, arriving late in the afternoon.

Observation Hill - On this day, visit Observation Hill, a cone-shaped hill in the park’s western region. It is the only spot where you can exit your vehicle and take a walk. The hill, of volcanic origin from Mt. Kilimanjaro’s Pleistocene activity, offers a 360-degree view of the park’s arid areas, marshlands, and lakes. On a clear day, the view of Mt. Kilimanjaro to the south is breathtaking.

Tsavo East Safari: Witness the Red Giants of Kenya - Consider stopping by Tsavo East on your return journey.

Opt to visit Tsavo East on your way back from Amboseli. With this choice, you will reach Voi in time for lunch, followed by a short break before embarking on your adventure into Tsavo East National Park.

Tsavo’s stunning landscapes and its dry, challenging environment make it a place where animals often gather in smaller areas for water and habitat, especially during the dry season, making them more vulnerable to predators.

Enjoy a 3-hour game drive as you head to the Bachuma Gate exit and continue your return journey to your drop-off location.
