My birthday gateway - The service is amazing, the place so beautiful ,the food always fresh ,their bar one of a kind. The rooms are well maintained. Since day 1 the staff have been great Naomi brief me even before I got there via Sgr,Marxie was on time to pick me and co-ordinated so well all my transport, Sammy was a ball of energy for my game drive and great guide.The pool....is beautiful and well maintained. Definitely a place to visit.

An unforgettable experience in Kenya 🇰🇪 - I just spent a week in Kenya, and I can't help but share my wonderful experience! It was undoubtedly the best trip of my life. Special thanks go to Francesco Safarikenya , an extraordinary local guide, who made it all the more special. Francesco is a very special person: very polite, helpful and speaks Italian perfectly. For the safari, Francesco took us to Manyatta Camp, a tented camp (although the structures are brickwork, so you can rest assured) with a private pool in the room. This camp is located on the border with the park, near a water source, and it was amazing to see the animals pass by our room to go drinking. We also did the Blue Safari, during which we saw many dolphins and did a breathtaking snorkeling, admiring colorful fish. The day was crowned by a delicious lobster lunch. In addition to this, Francis organized other unforgettable excursions: Marafa Canyon (a unique natural wonder), The ruins of Gede, The beautiful Golden Beach. Francesco is also super available for extra excursion needs. For example, he accompanied us to look for sunscreen and made us buy excellent fresh cashews. One point I want to emphasize in favor of Francis is his discretion, a quality that distinguishes him from many other local guys doing the same job. Francesco is very professional and will never ask you for money doing the classic "crying", as unfortunately often happens elsewhere. If you are planning a trip to Kenya, I recommend you rely on him: he will make you experience the best of this extraordinary land at a very small price. Thank you very much Francis! It was my first time to see lions in real life. Beautiful clean rooms, extremely friendly staff - This is a very fantastic hotel. Clean, great location, good food, kind staff with excellent customer service. Philemon, Nicholas, cresensia, Joshua, Kezia, Joseph, Carol, jemilah were friendly and efficient staff.

Then our safari began, we saw lions, zebras, crocodiles, hippos, leopards, cheetahs and many others... we also relied on him to visit marafa and gede ruins, with transport included. Great prices. 3 DAYS AND 2 NIGHTS SAFARI WITH THE FAMOUS SHERIFF OF KENYA - Fantastic experience, We spent our honeymoon in Kenya and never thought it would be so special. Before the departure from Italy we had already made contact with Shariff whose contact had been provided by the owner of the Trips Agency to which we relied, he immediately proved very helpful. Arrived in the village he came to introduce himself and the next day we immediately left with his agency azmina tours to the first stage tsavo east, already from the early morning we saw many animals, in the evening we stayed in your safari lodge inside the park and the next day we left for thaita hills also here under the wise Guide of the famous Sheriff of Kenya and our very good driver Carlos we admired vastness of animals in the evening then we stayed in the stilts of Saltlick safari lodge a wonderful experience. After the safari we decided to rely on Shariff also for the other excursions that we did in the following days, visits to schools, marafa, gede etc... also he was very helpful in helping us for our needs by providing us with a sim for shopping and other needs.... so we would recommend relying on him for an experience with flakes WITH SHERIFF EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE. Superlative - Wonderful experience. The landscapes are breathtaking, you see lots of animals. Saltlick is an amazing, breathtaking place. You also eat very well!!! There is a puddle under the stilts where the animals go to drink. Abraham portaben (+254 782 663 600 ) organized us an incredible, serious trip always attentive and helpful and provided us with a Guide and an Expert driver, essential to see the animals.

SALTLICK always the TOP, SAFARI WITH EXCEPTIONAL LENANA! - It's the second time I've Accommodation at Saltlick Lodge, a beautiful stilt structure with central watering hole at the building for elephants and other animals! Buffet and very good and varied cuisine, always very nice!!! With Lenana safari we did a safari of 8 days and 7 nights also passing through Taita Hills, we also did the night safari, WONDERFUL! The next day in the early morning we were lucky enough to find and see in the street a family of lionesses with cubs playing with a porcupine! ASANTE SANA MAMA AFRICA and thanks to Taita Hills! Safari Lenana a wonderful team, effective professionals aware of the territory! I will definitely return

What a lodge - Wow We so enjoyed our time at Saltlick. We travelled from Mombasa by rail to Voi and then got bussed up to Taita Hills. Lunch was at Taita and then we transferred to Saltlick. Its about 40 minutes by coach/ or safari vehicle. We arrived at Saltlick to find a herd of elephants at the watering hole accompanied by zebra and deer. Wildebest hovered a little further back and the giraffes decided to come in for a drink as well. What a start without even going on a game drive. The lodge was excellent. Good sized rooms with good facilities in the middle of nowhere. Our game driver was called Samuel and he was superb. Friendly, great knowledge and so good with our 7 year old grandson. We enjoyed his company for our four daytime drives and the evening drive. This was a great experience. A ranger joined us with a huge torch. The animals must have wondered who was shining a light in their eyes. Anyway we saw Hyena, Bush babies, Owls and even suprised an old Bull Elephant.

Manager Rude to staff during visit!!! - I gotta say that my wife and I actually enjoyed majority of our stay. The staff were really friend service was great clean accommodations and overall impress. While there we noticed that some staff were always on edge. We also do an incident where an Indian supervisor was berating some kitchen staff. That was thoroughly disturbing for us to witness. There is no mistake that would ever deserve such a response from a supervisor. Was shocking to say the least. Please let’s do better and stop perpetuating racist and abusive behavior. I hope that the Lodge provided a genuine apology to the kitchen staff and proper safety measures are taken for the beloved underpaid employees. Do better Salt lick Safari lodge
