Excellent Historic Walk - Our guide was interesting, well informed and very engaging. A great walk interspersed with really interesting, bite sized chunks of history relating to a particular area or building. I would highly recommend to visitors or Liverpudlians alike 👍

Absolutely brilliant intro to Liverpool's great history - John was absolutely brilliant at giving an intro of Liverpool's history- from when King John made it a town, to being in the lead with shipping and railways. He also told us about the part Liverpool played in the trans-Atlantic slave trade, but also how the merchants here petitioned for the trade to be abolished. John rightly took pride in the beautiful Grade One listed buildings in the city. I did not know that the Royal Liver Building was the first in the world to be built with reinforced concrete and would be the model for the skyscrapers in New York and Chicago. It was also great to see the world's first railway station, and to see the start of the canal joining Liverpool to that other great icon of the English North, Leeds, in the form of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal. John knew his history 150%, was really passionate and was great at answering questions. Thanks a million John for a great intro to this great city.

Don't miss this tour! - We learnt more about the history of Liverpool in 2 hours than we thought possible. John has a fantastic knowledge and the tour was a real highlight of our visit.
