Detroit Rebirth - Yes, Mike had a good knowledge of Detroit. Personable and easy to talk to. Enjoyed the history of some of the great old buildings as well as the business behind the old and new Detroit

Inspiring story of architecture and preservation - Due to a scheduling fluke, I had the privilege of being the only person on my tour. Dildora is warm, open, and very knowledgeable about so many aspects of Detroit. Her passion for these tours is very evident, and we covered a lot of ground in a short amount of time. I was very inspired and energized by all of the incredible architecture that we visited—especially when you see images of what these buildings looked like just 10-20 years ago. Downtown Detroit is a true preservation success story, and this tour is a must for anyone visiting!

Guide was great, lots of... - Guide was great, lots of local knowledge to share, really helped us better appreciate the area. Didn’t know much about history of Detroit but now have a better sense of how the city got where it is today.

Excellent tour from someone who cares about Detroit - Very kind and knowledgeable guide. Answered any questions with detail, was clearly a part of the Detroit community, and her information didn't feel 'cookie cutter' or rote. Clearly loves Detroit and is optimistic for its future. We left inspired and excited for Detroit.

What a city! - Great tour; very informative. Walked short distances so should be ok for those not used to big walks. The architecture and history of Detroit is wonderfully presented.

Rich history, bright future - We toured Detroit with Mike and learned a lot about the city. Gotta say Detroit was a surprise for us of the more than a dozen cities we visited on our trip. The city is rich in big-name history, but also they have a lot going on for them today and in the future, thanks to the strategic investment of some native sons. Loved walking through magnificent stops, public art and first-class restorations. Looking forward to returning!

A heartwarming and inspirational tour of a city that has risen from the ashes. - My husband and I and another couple took this tour and were astounded at the renaissance Detroit has experienced in just the last 8-10 years, highlighted by the carefully curated stops and in depth information provided by our multi lingual guide. My husband is a second generation native Californian so is not fully aware of the death spiral Detroit experienced during my childhood there in the 1960’s and 70’s. I am a professional tour guide myself in Santa Barbara and felt the pacing and information provided by our tour operator was spot on. We saw beautifully restored buildings, clean streets/alleyways and got an inspiring story of hope and regeneration including newly implemented social supports that have been put in place in recent years. I felt like we were in Oslo Norway rather than a formerly decaying US rust belt city. Highly recommended!!

Highly Recommend This Tour! - I grew up in Metro Detroit but never really spent much time in the city itself. On a recent trip home from California, I decided to take my mom on a tour of Detroit and I’m so glad we did. It was a fantastic experience! Mike, our guide, was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about both the city’s rich history and its ongoing transformation. I highly recommend this tour,it made me fall in love with Detroit all over again.

Great way to see the architecture of Detroit - Wow. What a great tour! Dildora was very knowledgeable about the history of Detroit and we saw some really cool architectural buildings that we would never have done on our own. Of course we always meet fun people on these tours. A must do when in Detroit.

Fascinating and educational tour! - Absolutely fantastic tour! She was incredibly knowledgeable and knew all the key spots—both historic landmarks and newer developments. I really appreciated how she connected the past and present, showing how Detroit has evolved over time. I walked away feeling much more informed and inspired by where the city has been and where it’s heading. Highly recommend!
