Good people, Good Fun! - Mark and Oliver were wonderful people to go out with. Mark the captain brings experience and Oliver is way over qualified for this position but he does it for fun and the fun and personality really shine. No matter what your ability level he has got you. And he loves kiddos. We got to see some dolphins, grab some shells and snorkel in some quiet water. What more could you want? Maybe food and drink recommendations on your way out? Ollie’s got that covered too. We hit up Beignets and Brew on our way out and that was a 10 out of 10 recommendation from our friend Ollie. You should book this tour. Good people, Good fun.

Fun family outing - Captain Mark and First Mate Marin were our guides and they gave us a great outing.
My family and I had never been on a snorkeling tour so we weren’t sure what to expect.
The tour offers goggles and a snorkel, and swim fins for those who are interested in diving down a little further around the rock jetty location. The snorkeling locations are in shallow water (about 4 ft) but deeper spots are nearby to explore.
The water was beautiful near the jetty and there were so many fish in large schools swimming around us. Marin gave us frozen peas to feed the fish and they knew what was coming and swarmed us, which was incredible. Some fish were more aggressive than others and nipped our fingers (didn’t hurt, just surprising). We saw some jellyfish (and a couple of people got stung, as did I) but vinegar was offered to dull the pain. My sting was tiny and on the back of my leg and didn’t hurt after a few minutes. But it was cool and scary to see them floating around so close to us.
There were birds like pelicans and herons hanging out on the rock jetty looking for their next fish snack and didn’t seem to mind us at all.
Then we were taken to an area where seabirds eat the shellfish and leave the shells. We got small nets to hold our treasures while we searched. My kids found a bunch, from scallops to sea snails and other unidentifiable ones. The water in this location was more cloudy and there was patches of sea grass where sometimes seahorses hang out (but we didn’t see any on this trip). We did see a lot of hermit crabs in their beautiful shells and so when we found a shell we had to make sure it was unoccupied. It was fun to watch the crabs scuttle around the sand.
We didn’t see any dolphins or other sea mammals during our outing but that’s ok. No one can guarantee that.
This was a different experience for my family and everyone enjoyed it. We got to splash around in the water and interact with the environment as well as given a short tour of the Destin seashore.

Do the snorkeling excursion! So fun!!! - Captain Mark and first mate Oliver were fantastic. Had the best time snorkeling. Guides were so informative. Equipment clean and well maintained. Saw so many fish and a dolphin pod. Second spot that we visited was awesome too. Found so many great shells. Highly recommend. Favorite part of our trip to Destin

Fantastic family outing! - Mark and Marin were terrific guides. I appreciated Mark's attention to detail and safety. Marin did an outstanding job with giving us information on the areas we passed and great recommendations on local restaurants, etc. We truly appreciated Marin being in the water with us while snorkeling with my grandchildren. They were thrilled with seeing all the fish and finding seashells.
We truly had a fun, entertaining experience! Thank you!

Not great. I'd book Destin Snorkel - There were too many jellyfish in the first location we went to, so we didn't get much time there. The shelling was fun though. The captain of the ship snapped several times at some of the tourists who were talking during the safety portion. He seemed less than thrilled to be there and it really made the experience feel a little tense. Like we were in the way. We'd booked Destin Snorkel many years before and always had a great experience. Lesson learned.

Misleading and not as described - Don’t waste your time and money. The water was not the nice clear blue color as the photos portrayed. At our first stop the water was green and dirty. Very similar to a lake. The second stop was not as dirty but still not the ice blue colors. The photos are 100% misleading. The only thing we saw was small dish and hermit crabs. I guess from the description of what was being sold was not the same as the actual experience. Go to the store and buy goggles and a snorkel and you’ll have the same experience but save a ton of money. We went to the store and bought goggles and a snorkel and found way cooler things at the ocean front we’re staying at. Plus the waters are much cleaner.
