Educational and fun tour - Book it! - I had a great time learning the history of Desenzano with Davide! He is so knowledgeable and one can tell he is passionate about the area. We enjoyed additional conversation about the town I was lodging in and other places we had in common. He also gave me some great recommendations of other places to check out if I had time or was able to return. The sunset boat ride with Chiara (with a glass of prosecco in hand!) was a great way to finish the day!

Desenzano lake Garda evening tour - Chiara, our guide in Desenzano made our visit very special, as she was very passionate and knowledgeable about the town and its history. We had already visited Desenzano and whilst it is a beautiful town we knew little about its history. The Roman villa was well worth a visit and she kept our interest immersing us in what it would have been like living in the villa in Roman times on her tablet. She was happy to recommend some very good local bars and restaurants, we did eat at one of them, great meal. The boat trip was good fun, nice glass of Prosecco included. Again Chiara was very friendly and attentive.

family friendly tour of desenzano - We had a great tour of desenzano with Chiara. We had just arrived from the US the morning of our tour, so my six year old was a little tired. Chiara adapted perfectly to our energy levels and kept my 6 year old engaged. We had a great tour of “old desenzano” then explored an ancient roman villa. She had an app on her iPad that allowed us to see what the villa would have looked like and could move around the villa on the app, which was really cool. We then walked up to a castle and got a beautiful view of the lake. We were supposed to have then had a sunset boat tour of the lake, but this was canceled last minute due to weather and we got a refund. She offered to take us for an appertivo but at this point my child was super tired so we just walked around “new desenzano” a bit and she showed us the ferry stop and schedule. As a local of desenzano, she was highly knowledgable and such a lovely guide to have. She also gave us tips on the local dishes and wine and where to eat (which were delicious). Highly recommend this tour!
