Highly recommend - This is a great tour to see the countryside and learn about the area. The horses were very well looked after, easy to ride and very gentle. Our guide Sergio was full of knowledge and answered any questions we asked. The driver too was informative. We enjoyed a relaxing swim in the crater lagoon too.

Nicaragua’s nature at its finest! - Franklin did an excellent job in coordinating this tour last minute for me. I added it about a week before my departure and he was so accommodating about it! I say this because I want to emphasize how incredibly organized he is! I’m so glad that I added it because I wanted to get as much out of Nicaragua that I could during my Short stay there. The horse back ride to the lagoon was such a beautiful experience out in nature! I also love that this was a family owned farm. I really felt like I had a very authentic, organic experience which is very important to me. We even had a real cowboy with us on the trail to help and guide us along the way. The horses were so cute, docile, beautiful and easy to ride. The trails were gorgeous! Stunning greenery everywhere, farmland, and volcano views. The ride itself was so relaxing and nice. Once we got the lagoon, I relaxed and hung out in the water, swam a bit and just stared into the beauty of the lagoon and it’s surroundings. Franklin and I talked and chilled, I felt like I was hanging out with a friend. He also took gorgeous videos and photos of me as well! Both at the lagoon and while horseback riding. I love to look back at them! Thank you Franklin for an amazing trip!

A lovely ride in the countryside - A lovely way to spend the morning. We were taken to a local farm where we picked up our horses and had a gentle amble through the surrounding countryside on horseback culminating in spectacular views of volcanos and El Tigre lagoon having swum in the lagoon the previous day we opted not to trek down to the water and swim but this is an option. We can ride, but I would say that the horses were tame and well-behaved to accommodate those who have no experience. The horses were also well cared for, not like some others we've seen around Leon. The farmer and his family were very friendly, and we enjoyed petting the goatsheep (a cross between a goat and a sheep that we've never seen before) as well as the various chickens ducks, etc Miguel from Vamos travel was an attentive guide. The only disappointment was the ride is advertised as 3 hours, but it was barely 2, so quite an expensive activity but still worth it on our opinion
