Here, you’ll learn about life in Famagusta, including the Varoshia tourist area, before the Turkish invasion in 1974. - Famagusta Viewpoint - Begin your journey in Derynia village at the Famagusta Viewpoint. Here, you’ll learn about life in Famagusta, including the Varoshia tourist area, before the Turkish invasion in 1974. Please note that the only guided tour will occur at the Famagusta Viewpoint before entering the northern part of the island.
- Famagusta Walled City - We will drive to the checkpoint to cross into the northern part of the island, occupied by the Turkish army, and pass by the ‘ghost city’ where visitors are not allowed. We will then explore the old city with its stunning Venetian walls, take photos, shop, or relax with a coffee. You can also visit the Othello Tower and capture breathtaking photos from the top.
- Blue Lagoon - We will head to the beautiful eastern beaches, where we will board a cruise boat and sail along the coastline, enjoying views of various coves and sea caves. One of the trip’s highlights is the ‘Blue Lagoon,’ known for its crystal-clear waters. Here, you can relax, swim, or snorkel, with snorkeling equipment provided on board for free. During this scenic and memorable cruise, we will have another opportunity to swim. A delicious lunch prepared by our chef, accompanied by a complimentary local drink, will be served on board. Please note that no guided tour will take place on the boat during the cruise. Adverse weather conditions or other factors beyond our control may lead to the cancellation of the second part of the excursion, including the boat trip and lunch. In such rare cases, guests will be compensated with €28.00 per adult and €15.00 per child.

Great! - Absolutely a must! worth the price! thanks to George Michael, we went to Famagusta (past the border checkpoint), stay there for a little bit before heading to the boat where you get to swim and have lunch (as much as you want), free lemonade and free wine (1? i think) but bar is open if you like. Time on the boat is long but great! the land defender vehicle was awesome to ride in and made new awesome friends/connections with others throughout the trip! Make sure to bring your physical European ID/Passport with you or you’ll not be able to go to Famagusta.

Great balance between fun and history - This is a nice tour to farmghusta on the nothern cyprus side , and a sail to the blue laguna.
George our guide speaks great english and was very very nice.
I liked both the historical context , with the views of the deserted area, closed to access. And the recreational sail with the lunch ,beautiful views and swimming stops.

Amazing! - I really recommend this tour! George Michael was very accommodating and very knowledgeable about Famagusta! As a solo traveller he made me feel very welcome on the trip and kept checking in.
The jeep ride was very fun and interesting once in Famagusta with some time to look around the old town. Then you get to go onto a boat cruise to 2 swimming spots where the water is clear and warm as well as having a BBQ on the boat.

One of the best tours I have been on - George Michael explain the history of Cyprus so well that I felt I understand where we were going what we were looking at, the people, the places, the history, the political issues. Then we were all able pivot to having a great time on the boat. George Michael is a asset to your company. He's pretty good looking too :)

Have Faith with this tour. - Early start with our guide George Michael (yes !), on time and warm welcome. 10 of us on the Land-rover. George was a great guide and very passionate and knowledgeable about his home country. After a short journey picking up passengers on the way we passed into the illegally occupied area of northern Cyprus to the town of Famagusta. Very interesting town (but also very sad) with plenty of time to look around. Then back across the border to board the cruise ship. On board there was plenty of space to relax and 2 stops for swimming. Lunch was a BBQ with salads, plenty to eat and good quality for a tour lunch. After a couple of hours we headed back to port and back onto the Jeep for the journey home. George took us on a detour to show us some extra sights, all with the accompanying soundtrack of George’s namesake! Would highly recommend this tour.

One beautifully day in Cyprus - Best experience in Cyprus. We have George Michael as our guide and he make the trip better. He is funny and passionate about this country. We remain with a lot of information from him: ancient history, modern facts, good places to eat and a very good host for whole trip.
I invite everyone to take this trip and enjoy a good day in Cyprus.

Must see-.Famagusta - Famagusta is an excellent place to visit and to learn about the history, politics and social situation of Cyprus as a divided country. The guides were passionate and informative. Also enjoyed the cruise to Blue Lagoon and the opportunity to swim in the amazing blue water of the Mediterranean. Highly recommend this great tour.
