Such a memorable tour - Noel our walking guide on this tour had personal memories of his own of things that had personally happened to him, his family and school friends during the troubles in Derry. Some of his memories were so poignant and sad it made us realise how much the people on all sides in Northern Ireland had suffered and the amount of deaths which many of the families went through; some of the saddest incidents anyone should ever have to go through. Noel was able to share dates and names and locations with us as we continued our walking tour with him - his development of these historical events - Bloody Sunday etc helped the four of us to understand a little more about the actual historical significance of what we were seeing. I would recommend to anyone that they should book this walking tour with Noel to hear first hand from him about his personal journey through the troubles during the last 50 years - thank you Noel for sharing your very personal memories with us. We have such a greater understanding now about the conflict.

The guide was passionate about the history of Derry and we enjoyed this tour - It was great to hear real stories from the tour guide about how Derry is related to important aspects that have shaped Irish history. We also saw the world famous striking artworks in the form of wall murals and some more historical land marks as well. The guide was passionate about the history of Derry and we enjoyed this tour.
