Blue Plaques AR Enhanced Demo Tour - Excellent! We were warmly welcomed to the demo tour and introduced to the other guests which set us at ease from the very start. A thoroughly enjoyable AR enhanced tour where the characters on the commemorative blue plaques came to life, read poetry, told stories, sang songs, etc. We even had the opportunity to get our photographs taken with them. A truly memorable experience which we would highly recommend. The demo tour took longer than expected but to be honest we were having so much fun we never noticed the time passing by. We were in very good company along with a very knowledgeable and informative tour guide, David. We were also lucky to have a lovely day for it, being able to see the city in its full glory. Try out this AR enhanced tour and be prepared to walk, learn and have fun. An amazing experience. You won't be disappointed. Anne Marie and Cara

Tour of unionist tradition and identity - We asked for a guided tour of protestant-unionist-loyalist neighbourhoods in Derry and David created a special one for us, It included a walk in the Waterside and The Fountain areas and included project visits. We had a chance to talk to staff of a cross-community youth project and a cultural center. Thanks so much, David for a unique opportunity to get insight into the history, symbols, tradition, identity, perceptions and contempory culture of the community!

New Buildings History Group Day out. - We did the Real Derry Girls tour. It was absolutely 💯 From a history perspective David has a wealth of knowledge. Don't miss if you are in town!

Get to know Derry in a special way - David provided an in-depth look at Derry, its general history but also how it connects to the history of the Scots Irish. The tour was well paced and super informative, and David super kind.

Excellent tour, David was a very good,and informative tour guide ,taken at a nice pace , - The whole tour was just very good , learning about these influential women and what they achieved notably Amelia Erhart ,would recommend it to those visiting Derry

I learnt a lot more about history I was interested in and thought I knew about!. - David has so much knowledge about the people who make up Derrys history, he brings then to life. He has a wonderful down to earth style easy to understand.

I met the real Derry Girls on this tour - I met the real Derry Girls. Although I have done David's audio tours before, I had not done one of the real ones so it was great to get the opportunity last month when he did trial tours for locals to experience his new women's themed history tour Influential Women of the Walled City. I forgot to leave this review at the time and I know the tour is now available to buy. Although I have done another themed Derry Girls tour from another company available on a Saturday, and I enjoyed it at the time, with hindsight, I know find it very limited and one dimensional, compared to David's tour. His tour covers the real Derry Girls, ie the history of real people, but he does cover the fictional ones too. I wish David well for his new tour and hope he gets lots of visitors to book it and hear this wonderful history.

Derriere Danders Ulster Scots/Irish walking tour. - We've been on two walking tours now with David. One about the city walls and the second with an Ulster Scots/Irish theme. David is very knowledgeable about everything we saw and was able to give us references to find further info if wanted. I'm not really a history buff unlike my husband but the two hours flew by full of interesting stories, anecdotes and humour.

A great afternoon dandering and appreciating the knowledge of David. - I highly recommend Derrie Danders. Especially suitable for Groups interested in the City and its links with the Ulster Scots.
