A unique and exciting experience in the heart of Derry - I was lucky enough to join a political tour of Derry gui DAto da Francesca, an Italian who has lived in the city for a long time and it was an unforgettable experience. Francesca is a passionate and well-trained guide, able to convey with depth and clarity the complex history of the city, the problems experienced by its people to date and the prospects for the future. Having a guide all to myself, who spoke Italian, made everything even more engaging, as well as clear in every detail. Francesca was able to adapt perfectly to my interests and curiosities, answering with competence and attention to all my questions and proposing valuable insights along the way. The tour was not only a chance to learn, but also a real emotional journey into Derry’s memory and identity. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Ireland: Derry is definitely worth a stop on your itineraries, not only for its recent history, but also for its older charm (see the walls), its vibrant pub life and the hospitality of its people. Thank you, Francesca, for making this moment so special.

The troubles explained well - Clear and complete, David finally made us understand with simplicity and competence what happened in those years in Northern Ireland, making us enter the climate of the “troubles” and giving us a couple of hours emotionally very intense.

It remained in my heart - Derry's recent history is vibrant and tangible. I absolutely recommend this study to really understand the soul of this city. Furthermore, since the local English accent is really difficult to understand, with David you can relax and feel at ease.
