Challenging Yet Rewarding Snow Hike with an Outstanding Guide - Overall Experience I had a fantastic experience on this trip! Jed, our guide, was exceptional—knowledgeable, supportive, and engaging throughout. The tour was well-managed and thoroughly planned, ensuring everyone had a safe and enjoyable time. Trip Details • Provided Essentials: • Lunch Options: Sandwiches (vegetarian or turkey). • Hydration: Water (carry your own reusable bottle). • Gear: Shoe chains for snow traction. (Provided on the spot by the tour guide based on your shoe size) Hike Overview: • Distance: 5.3 miles (round trip). • Highlights: A stunning frozen lake and snow-capped mountain peaks. • Activity: Moderate to intense hiking, including uphill climbs through snow. What to Expect • Scenery: The views at the top are breathtaking, making the challenging hike worthwhile. • Breaks: Jed ensured everyone was comfortable, allowing breaks as needed. • Temperature: The summit is extremely cold. Bring a warm jacket, gloves, and ear caps. Important Notes • Physical Fitness: • This hike is physically demanding, especially for those who aren’t active. • The altitude (~40% less oxygen at the summit) and snowy terrain can be tough to navigate. • Avoid participating if you have health issues or lack regular exercise habits. • Support: Jed and the group were understanding and accommodating, helping everyone complete the hike. Recommendation I highly recommend this experience for adventurous, physically active individuals. The combination of Jed’s insights about local flora and fauna, the incredible views, and the camaraderie make this a memorable trip! However, be mindful of the fitness level required before signing up.

Excellent experience. - The guide was phenomenal. It was the right size group. I really enjoyed it. You may want to tell people to not go on this hike on the first day in Denver. The altitude can be a little challenging until you get used to it.

We had Brad Pitt with a mullet (Nick) giving us 5 star trip - Imagine getting to it around by a movie star look like. Well, I cannot guarantee you will get Nick on your next visit, however the service that they provided was pretty much like a five star service that a celebrity would have received. Although I initially booked for a hiking trail package, however they were very kind to inform me in advance that it was not available and converted to a much, more easy-going trip for me and my lovely wife. Nick was just amazing, he could never stop talking with the amount of knowledge and passion that he has for the great outdoors. Even though it was in total eight hours plus, it didn’t feel at all, the trip was very well planned and spaced out. it was punctuated with several stops. All in all I got the objective which was to see the fall foliage over the Rocky Mountains and many of the spots. I would highly recommend anyone to take this trip package. If I ever come back, this is definitely the same Tour group that I will be using.

Perfect day in RMNP - I’m an experienced hiker and joined the group for company and was not disappointed. Sarah the naturalist/guide was simply terrific! She chatted all the way up giving us all sorts of interesting tid bits. She also explained how the company only hired perfect drivers and how they are recorded for evaluation purposes, so I felt much safer with her than other random drivers I’ve had on mountain roads. She certainly knew her way around the park and managed to avoid us having to use the shuttle bus to the trail head which would have taken away from exploring time due to the long lines. The hike was 4 miles with about 950 feet of gain which was determined after we all answered her honestly about our fitness abilities (please don’t overestimate yourself, lest you be miserable on the trail!). The trail was more crowded than I’m used to, but I guess that’s a national park for you. The other people on the hike were lovely and excellent company. In short, it couldn’t have gone better.

Do it again! - This was an amazing hike! The views were awesome. I’d consider this a moderate hike due to the elevation gain. Our guide Sarah was super sweet and so knowledgeable about so many things!!!

A great hike through the mountains - The hike was incredible, we saw beautiful views as we hiked up the mountains and we walked around two mountain lakes. Or guide, Jerry, was excellent, he gave us lots of information about the land we were hiking through and the history of the area. He pointed out wildlife and made sure we were comfortable with the hike at all times, taking breaks whenever we wanted and photos anywhere along the way.

An incredible day - Had an incredible day in Rocky Mountain national park. I was originally booked on the hiking tour, but that was cancelled due to lack of sign-ups so I was offered the sightseeing tour instead. Kacey was a fantastic guide and made sure we got in some hiking at Sprague Lake, Bear Lake, and the Tundra Conservation trailhead at almost 13,000 feet. It was an unbelievable, memorable day. Thank you to Kacey and Aspire Tours.
