Embark on a one-day journey from Athens to Delphi, a renowned archaeological site in Greece from our terminal. We will travel through the marvels of Boeotia, known for its agriculture, and Theva, the birthplace of King Oedipus. Journeying onward to Mt. Parnassos, we will halt at the town of Levadia and Arachova before reaching Delphi, the mystical center of the earth and universe as per Ancient Greek belief. Celebrated for its amphitheater, the Temple of Apollo, and its enduring ruins, Delphi was deemed the world’s navel and held significant influence in the ancient classical Greek world. We will explore the archaeological site and the Oracle-laden Temple of Apollo. On our way back to Athens, we plan to drop by the Monastery of Osios Loukas.
