Heart warming tour - Such an amazing tour. Our guide Santan has a unique relationship with the local Zakhira community. Santan is a generous man, giving time and funds to help educate and give opportunities to the children. We spent quite a bit of time at his one room classroom, sharing stories,snacks and drinks with the children. The children were very proud and excited to show their classroom and engage in conversation with us. It was a moving experience. I would highly recommend this tour 💯

Beautiful energy - The guide did an exceptional job. I met Indians with outstanding energy and infectious joy. Initially hesitant to join solo, I met wonderful people and made great friends on the tour.

A Must Do Tour In Delhi - What an incredible experience! A must do tour in Delhi - eye opening, authentic, and respectful to the inhabitants of the area. The guide is amazing, a great communicator and super down to earth. He knows many of the people in the area and so you feel very much like you are taking a stroll with friends instead of just taking a tour. Closed toed shoes and conservative dress is a must, and you should know that pictures require permission - you would not want strangers coming to your neighborhood to gawk at you!
You will see things on this tour that you have not seen before and you will probably be the better for it. Highly, highly recommended!

A Unique Glimpse into Local Life - This tour was unlike anything I’ve experienced before. Santan, our guide, was fantastic - his insights into the area and the people who live there made the experience deeply personal and meaningful. This tour was the most eye opening experience I had in India - I really loved this tour because I came out with a new positive perspective of the slum. At first I felt really uncomfortable because it was something I never experienced before but the guide, Ankit took care of me every step of the along the way and made me feel more at ease as he greeted and talked with all the locals along the way. I can say this tour was the most eye opening experience I had in India so far and I would definitely recommend this tour to others.

A fascinating and emotional look into the slums. - It was a nice experience to see how people find a way to live between problems and poverty.
The people there were very quiet and peaceful, curious about visitors.
Our guide explained us how many works and activities take place in all those small streets.
It was very interesting to see the fish market and butchery, and how young boys made the local bread.
Unfortunately isn't possible to take photos, but maybe it's better like this, in order to not make the life of the slum like a zoo for tourists.
We were only a bit disappointed because we expected to stay longer into the slums and we see only few streets.
