We are recommending Walking Tours as they have 10 star support. The tour was great too! - Excellent communication! I had trouble downloading on our second phone through no fault of Walking Tours. I texted them at (617) 991-3269. They answered promptly and stayed in contact while we resolved the issue. Tour was of Deadwood South Dakota. We learned a fun facts and was able to easily follow along. Narrative was done in the spirit of the times and included music along the way representing old west. The cemetery climb we decided to pass on as it is a very long incline, steep. Thank you Walking Tours for adding to our adventure. Cheryl and Randy

Informative easy to follow fun tour - Showed up in town early with no real plan. This tour of Deadwood was just the ticket to introduce me to the town and it's history. It was really easy to navigate. Clear instructions and the content was entertaining. Loved it!

Great historical info - The walking tour was great. Just long enough to get a good overview of the key things, while not dragging in too long. The narrator had a great voice and provided the key, interesting details of the various places that you walked by. I liked the pause feature that allows you to actually go in and explore some of the locations if you choose to do so. One warning: the walk/hike up to the cemetery is NOT for the weak/out of shape!!

A must do! - Awesome Tour. I was able to go at my own pace and learned a Lot about the city. I walked the whole tour and it wasn't bad at all. Wear your walking shoes! Big hill up to the cemetery but it was worth it. I was a solo traveler and this was the best use of my time. There was also a trolley and other things to do, but to me, this was perfect to do on my own. Great Tour!! Thank you!

Do it! (But not without earbuds!) - This is a very informative tour and we learned a great deal about the history of Deadwood and its early inhabitants. It’s well-narrated and engrossing, with great information. Greg, the tour owner, is extremely responsive to questions via text. Once we figured out the WalkNTours app it was easy to use. Highly recommend the tour. There are some references to brothel activity and some violent killings of the day, so parents should be aware. Some previous commenters have dinged the tour as being difficult to hear. Deadwood is extremely loud with loads of noisy motorcycles and other vehicles. Don’t attempt to do this tour unless you have earbuds!!

Pretty Cool. Worth it. - There’s some initial confusion. You have to load the WalknTours app, not Viator. Once I overcame this, the tour was fun informative, and easy to follow. Well produced. Just the right duration. I don’t understand why pay for two tours when we just listened to my phone, but, $10 bucks. So what?

Just do it - Enjoyed it, informs you on the highlights of the deadwood history in a very nice way. Can recommend to do this, certainly when you have limited knowledge of this part of the US

Needs tweaking, but worth it - The app needs some work. There is a male voice doing the commentary and a female voice providing actual directions to the next stop. The female voice did not seem to be in sync with the male voice so we ended up disregarding the female voice as it was becoming frustrating. The male commentary was good and easy to follow. Definitely worth it.
