All in all a top day - The Sea Life in Oberhausen is a really great experience for the whole family! The diversity of sea creatures, from colorful fish to majestic sharks and sea lions, is impressive. Especially exciting is the ocean tunnel, where you feel like you are right in an underwater world – the fish literally swim around you! The aquariums are well maintained and offer a great opportunity to learn more about the different ecosystems of the seas. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the interactive stations make the visit even more entertaining. An unforgettable day that is not only fun, but also educational. Definitely worth a visit!

Absolutely worth seeing! Attention to passive follow-up costs with children - Were there with the family weekdays at lunchtime. There was little going on and absolutely worth seeing. Even the smallest children can see almost everything well and we were able to take the compact stroller in. What annoyed me was the online ticket ordering. Already from visiting the website, as well as in the steps of the ordering process, you always get quite penetrating savings ticket, combination ticket and what not everything thrown under your nose, which you have to actively refuse and skip. I haven’t seen anything like this in a really long time at any internet shop. And then the next one: The tour ends in the candy paradise. Then you have to go through the stuffed animal section. Then you take the lift down to the exit - and there you meet the end opponent: The Bob the Builder wheel loader, which of course every child still wants to swing quickly for a euro. The "spend money here, please, or your kid's gonna make a huge riot" department, I also thought it was all pretty crass. This is less intrusive for some theme parks, because there are usually ways around it.

Great with small children - We stayed at Sealife during the afternoon week. It was very empty, so we had a lot of time and peace to look at everything. An employee was always there to answer questions. Our little daughter (3 months) had a lot of fun admiring the colors and lights. The stroller can be taken into the aquarium or parked in an "indoor parking lot".
It was all in all a very nice stay. We were there for about 2 1/2 hours and especially enjoyed the ocean beeking with the tunnel and the grotto to sit very much.

Weekend trip different.. - We drove over 2 hours to Oberhausen on a Saturday, we had previously looked on the Internet if you have to buy tickets online or if you can also buy them on site. Since we could not find anything on the Internet to reduce admission due to a disability card (NOT difficult), we decided to buy our tickets on site.
When we arrived, we were a bit ungalantly made aware in the queue outside the entrance that all those who had not bought a ticket in the online pre-sale could actually go home again, since hardly any tickets were left, and the few who were still there would hardly be enough for a family.
So we decided in short to buy tickets queuing up online - regardless of losses due to the disability not taken into account.
Shortly before the ticket office (after almost 30 minutes waiting with a two-year-old) we were told that our tickets were only for admission 1 1/2 hours later, so we could still visit the nearby shopping center.
When we stood in line again a quarter of an hour before our official admission time, we weren’t surprised how many of us had booked this time. Contrary to expectations, everyone was admitted and so we stood in one fell swoop with just under 60 others in the entrance area, where after our recommended stay in the shopping center it was explained to us that there were no compartments for personal valuables or similar items and unfortunately we had to take our bags and bags to the exhibition.
The first corridor resembles a narrow narrow avenue through which the first half of the visitors simply pushed through, as the crowd was too large.
After just under 10 minutes the crowd had spread a bit over the entire exhibition, but nevertheless you had to consider all other visitors at every aquarium, which is not a problem in itself, but rather unpleasant with an entrance fee of a small weekly shop.
The animals on site were beautiful to look at and our son also found it very exciting, but all in all we were just happy to be back at the door in the end (unfortunately without a final snack on site).
Unfortunately, I can't compare to visits during the week, but for all those who are planning a trip with their children on the weekend, I definitely recommend looking for something else, we were sorely disappointed with the overall ambience!

Overpriced and not worth it. - Very disorganized and everything got old. The entrance fees are overpriced.
Without online booking no chance to get a ticket.
