- Karlsplatz - We meet at Karlsplatz 8. Between McDonald’s and Starbucks, close to the Karlstor archway.
U Bahn / S Bahn Station: Karlsplatz.
We take a clean and comfortable train for less than 20 minutes to the town of Dachau.
We transfer to a bus, which takes just 8 minutes to arrive at the former Concentration Camp.
- Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site - We bring you to the former Concentration Camp at Dachau and give you a full, comprehensive tour. Your questions are welcomed through the tour. Photography is allowed at the site.
- Karlsplatz - We take the same train and bus to get back to Munich. Your guide can give you directions to places to eat, great museums, how to get back to your hotel etc.

Informative and personalised - Hein was a terrific guide. His knowledge of Dauchau was very broad and he advised us well at all points on the journey, also answering our specific questions.

This is a must do - This was such an informative tour. The topic is so sensitive and emotional and Jaimie did a great job balancing it all. We knew we could not leave Germany without seeing and hearing about the Holocaust. As a side note the tour goes until about 2 pm - bring water bottles and snacks as there is no stopping for lunch.

Knowledgeable and personal guide - Jamie was an awesome, knowledgeable, and tactful guide. I was impressed that he was able to keep track and interact equally with a large group that went the day of the tour. We enjoyed the historic part of this tour, Jamie went above and beyond with explanation!

A Good Day in Daschau - The tour guide met us at the appointed time. He directed us to travel and gave preliminary info route. Once at Daschau he set the stage and was able to answer our questions with clarity and accuracy. After the tour he once again directed us to our travel spot and made sure everyone was taken care of. It was an excellent experience that I am very glad I had. I’d highly recommend. Be ready for a lot of walking and dress appropriately.

Amazing Tour - This is an amazing tour. Our tour guide, Jamie, is so knowledgeable and made the experience 100 times better than if you would go to Dachau on your own. Highly recommend this tour, a definite must do!

Dachau Tour From Munich (walking) - Friday, July 24, 2024 - 4 hours - We've enjoyed at least two dozen tours with Viator over the past five years and have had many, many good tour guides. But Jamie Buckley was the best guide ever! He was very knowledgeable and articulate. We had a group of 24, but it was not too many for Jamie. He took time with each of us, and he answered every question asked. We'll not forget our day at Dachau: A memorial for the dead; a warning for the living.

Jamie was amazing. Take this tour! - Jamie (James) was an amazing, informative host. We could not have enjoyed our tour more than with him. He made us feel comfortable, yielded all our questions with such professionalism and knowledge, and we cannot thank him enough.
