Fantastic Day in Datong - We had a fantastic tour in Datong. Our day started with our driver picking us up at the hotel punctually and with a very nice breakfast basket. Cathy took care of everything, making sure that we were in the right train. When we arrived in Datong, our guide Andy was already waiting for us. With our driver, they’ve taken us to incredibly beautiful places, and our guide was giving us detailed information about them all throughout this amazing day. He was very kind, helping us with everything, including helping us to order food, which was amazing. His English is very good and he is very knowledgeable. The service provided in Datong was excellent. Our driver had a very comfortable car and drove us safely back to Datong train Sarai on time. Arriving in Beijing, the other driver was waiting for us to take us back to the hotel.

Great, comfortable visit to datong! - Wonderful trip! Very convenient way to visit the important sites in Datong. Kathy and Benny were both very friendly and organized, and Benny, being a local, was able to provide a lot of detailed information. Our driver -- Mr. Guo -- was very safe and courteous. Lunch at a local restaurant was great! Highly recommended! Thanks!

The Best Tour! With amazing lunch and knowledgable guide. A must do experience - Our best tour day! An early start 6.15 am collected from our hotel by Cathy our tour guide and Mr Zhang the driver. Transferred to Beijing North train station to board the Bullet Train. Cathy arranged everything perfectly we gave her all our details when we booked prior to arriving in China. Cathy booked specific seats seats for us on the bullet train and sent us all the details via WhatsApp. The 2hr bullet train journey was a wonderful experience very clean and comfy with reclining seats, the view and scenery was beautiful definitely a wonderful experience. On arriving in Datong we were met by our driver Mr Cao (excellent driver, his vehicle was very clean with air conditioning and well kept) we travelled to Yun gang Grotto which took approx 20mins. Cathy gave us some history of the grotto to prepare us for our arrival. What a fabulous place, the photos don’t show how magnificent it is and the history told by Cathy makes the experience so special. After the tour we enjoyed lunch (our best meal since arriving in China), such a feast so tasty and fresh amazing selection, Cathy definitely makes sure you arnt left hungry. After lunch we travelled 1 1/2 hrs to Hanging Temple, this was welcomed after the early start and just having lunch we enjoyed a relax in the comfy car. Arriving at the Hanging Temple Wow! Wow! Wow! I can’t explain this amazing experience and the photos again don’t do it justice. This is a must must do Tour especially with Cathy she has so much knowledge and is so attentive making sure you are comfortable at all times. A note to anyone who has disability as the tour inside the hanging temple isn’t suitable as lots of stairs and quite narrow at times, although don’t discount taking the tour as the view and photo opportunity from the ground is as amazing and you won’t be disappointed even if you don’t go inside. Return comfortable journey with Mr Zhang back to the train Station to collect the Bullet Train back to Beijing. An amazing day one we won’t forget.

Great trip - A well organized tour, from start to finish a first class service. The explanations of the places gave us a full understandy of its history perfectly. Beny is an exceptional guide, always looking out for us, very polite and very good English, a highly recommended guide. And Cathy is a top quality organizer and her service and attention to detail shines through.

Awesome tour! - Cathy and the driver, Su, picked us up from and dropped us off at our hotel, seamless organized tour! Cathy gave us a comprehensive tour of DaTong! She was very informative and knew a lot about its history. We went to the hanging palace and YunGang Grottoes . She also bought us traditional DaTong noodles for dinner. She had the happiest attitude and helped us take pictures throughout the tour. I really enjoyed this tour and recommend to anyone who has time.❤️❤️❤️

Magnificent trip to Da Tong - Had a magnificent experience with Cathy! Punctual pickup in Beijing and a pleasant bullet train ride to Da Tong, where we visited the Yungang Grottoes and the Hanging Temple. Cathy coordinated with a private driver, bought us tasty knife noodles, and explained the rich history of China and its cultural icons to us. She is energetic, kind, and a great photo taker!

Perfect day in Datong - Ben, the guide, was amazing. He is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the region and explained them so well. We visited the Buddhist Grottos and the Hanging Temple, with a wonderful regional lunch in between. The driver was courteous and reliable. We recommend the trip very highly.

Incredible DaTong with Cathy - The booking experience was quick and easy. We received all the information we needed for a perfect experience. Cathy and our driver picked us up on time taking us directly to the Beijing North train station with delicious local dishes for breakfast. Our day in DaTong was perfect. We visited the Yun Gang Grottoes, Hanging Temple, and Hua Yan Temple with lots of time at each to fully experience each location. We had time to view the city wall and the amazing architecture of the old town including the Dragon Wall. Cathy provided an incredible amount of history about the area, the Dynasty’s, Buddhism, each location. The quality of the vehicles and drivers were great. We finished our day sharing a delicious dinner before heading back to the train station for our ride to Beijing and our hotel. An awesome day! Highly recommend.
