Typically, the journey will start from Stokes Hill Wharf, moving along the Esplanade at a speed of 4 knots, passing the Larrakeyah Naval barracks, Cullen Bay, and Fannie Bay. The experienced skipper may alter the route based on tidal conditions, ensuring the safety and comfort of guests. Tidal conditions dictate how close to the coast the ‘Charles Darwin’ can navigate.
