Journey from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
Dar es Salaam - Guests will be picked up from the airport, hotel, or ferry and driven to the SGR Station to catch a train to the Morogoro region, which takes about an hour. Upon arrival, a driver guide will take them to Mikumi National Park for a late-morning to afternoon game drive. After a delicious hot lunch, the game drive will continue until late evening, followed by a transfer to Camp Lilac Mikumi for dinner and an overnight stay.

Game Drive and Masai Village Experience
Mikumi Park - After breakfast, guests will embark on a day-long game drive to observe the wildlife in Mikumi National Park. The park’s expansive plains make it easy to spot a variety of animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, impalas, zebras, and more. Following the game drive, lunch will be enjoyed at one of the park’s picnic campsites. Afterward, guests will return to Camp Lilac Mikumi for some relaxation. At around 4:00 pm, a visit to a Masai village will take place, lasting until late evening, before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Return from Mikumi to Dar es Salaam
Dar es Salaam - An early breakfast will be followed by a drive to Morogoro SGR Station for the train back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, guests will be transported from the station to the airport, hotel, or ferry for their boat to Zanzibar.
