Advise of a Safari expert from Dove Adventure - I highly recommend this company for everybody who have short time in Dar es Salaam and want to see wildlife. At the end of our meeting in Dar es Salaam wanted to do a one day safari to Mikumi Park, the hotel manager called Jumbe to answer our questions and plan our safari. During our discussion Jumbe said that a day trip to Mikumi will only be worthy if we don’t have much time, he highly suggested us to take a two days one night safari to get more time in the Park and we accepted at the end after weighing the advantage and disadvantage according to what he suggested. The highway to Mikumi Park was busy with trucks and busses and the drive took about six hour and half with one stop for stretching, we arrived midday and after lunch we realized that it was so nice and very helpful that we took the advice of staying one night so we didn’t have to worry about driving back six hour again in the next few hours of the same day. We were all relaxed and happy to enjoy the environment and animals. The park was nice and our driver Michael was so knowledgeable about wildlife, he took us to areas with lots of animals and we counted our self-lucky to have him as our guide. Jumbe and Michael are truly safari professionals and I recommend them for anyone who is planning to go on Safari in Tanzania.
