Fun in Dar Es Salaam! - I had an amazing experience exploring Dar es Salaam with [Guide's Name]! They were incredibly kind, flexible, and knowledgeable, sharing so much about the city’s rich history and vibrant culture. From historical landmarks to local markets, every stop was engaging and insightful. The day ended perfectly with a refreshing coconut water and a fun shopping stop. Highly recommend for anyone wanting an authentic and immersive tour!

Dar es Salaam City Tour - The tour operator met us promptly, welcomed us, and gave us souvenirs upon arrival. Our driver/tour guide was very pleasant, respectful and showed us as much of the city as he could for the limited time we were there. The only issue was that the tour operator currently does not have access to get inside the port so we've had to meet them outside the gate. The walk there was a little long with a lot of vehicle traffic coupled with heat and humidity. The tour itself was fine.

Aqeel made the difference. - Aqeel is a great guy. Very helpful and goes out of his way to keep his passengers happy. We had an airport transfer at 5 am and there was no need for him to accompany us to the airport but he came. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best wishes Aqeel !

Helpful driver, but no guide - It took us about 300m walk in the hot African morning sun from our ship to outside the port where the car was waiting for us. Then it took another 5 minutes to find the car as our name was put inside the car so we couldn't see it. The car was an old black Toyota Alphard with very good aircon. The driver (forgive me, forgot the name) didn't speak much as he was not a guide. We were on this tour without a guide. First he took us to a fish market. Someone suddenly showed up and showed us around and explained everything in English. Quite knowledgable, probably a "local" guide. We tipped the "guide". Then the driver took us to the National Museum of Tanzania, paid the entrance and accompanied us around. Quite interesting exhibits (including the Presidential Rolls Royce), but sadly both the museum and the exhibits are lack of maintenance and the place was rather hot. Next was a some kind of a souvenir center with pricey handicrafts. We asked the driver to take us to a more "touristic" souvenir market where we could buy caps, flags, etc. which he kindly did. After done with shopping, the driver said, "We're done, now I'll take you back to the port." So much for a "Dar Es Salaam city sightseeing private tour". Not much of the city was worth seeing, obviously.
