We’ll make our way through the remarkable Danube Gorge, where the Decebal Rock resides. This rock sculpture depicts Decebalus, Dacia’s final king, who stood his ground against Roman emperors Domitian and Trajan to maintain his nation’s sovereignty, modern-day Romania. The carving measures 42.9 m in height and 31.6 m in width. This location also presents unique natural landscapes for our admiration.
Following on, we will take in the splendour of the mountains located in Bozovici’s protected administrative area.
As the day reaches its end, we will make our return to Timisoara.
