- Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress - Sigiriya, also known as Sinhagiri, is an ancient rock fortress situated in the northern Matale District near Dambulla in Sri Lanka’s Central Province. This site holds great historical and archaeological importance, highlighted by a towering granite rock column about 180 meters high. It is a 30-minute drive from the Dambulla Royal Cave Temple.
- Pidurangala Rock - Pidurangala Rock is a prominent hiking destination located a few kilometers north of Sigiriya. It offers moderate hiking and climbing opportunities, with breathtaking panoramic views, especially of Sigiriya and the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Midway up the rock, there is a large reclining Buddha statue, partially reconstructed with brick. At the rock’s base lies the Pidurangala Sigiri Rajamaha Viharaya, a white temple by the roadside. It is a 15-minute ride from the Sigiriya Rock Fortress.

Farm to table lunch made this a unique tour! - This was the best tour we had over a three week period in India and Sri Lanka. Sigiriya was an excellent experience, so beautiful and loved the ascent!! The most unique aspect of this tour was visiting the village Kayanwela where we were hosted by Erandi & Kumuduni (mother & daughter) for a farm-to-table lunch. The food was excellent, gourmet!!! The flavors and presentation were a highlight of our trip!

One of the best tours I’ve done! Highly recommended! - We initially booked this trip but ended up doing so much more tours. This is highly recommended to all faller travellers out there.
It was such a relaxing holiday but we’ve seen everything. So many amazing suggestions but nothing was forced.

Discovery of Sri Lanka: When the guide makes all the difference - During our trip to Sri Lanka, we had four different guides, and our experience confirmed to us that much more than the activities themselves, it is the guide that makes all the difference in the quality of the stay.
Sanchitha particularly stands out for her warm approach and sincere attention to her clients.
It goes well beyond expectations by offering authentic experiences, far from the usual tourist traps.

Fantastic tour experience! - We had an amazing experience traveling from Colombo to Sigiriya and Dambulla areas. Our driver, Sanchita, was an absolute delight - he was punctual, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about our well being. He went over and above to make sure we had a memorable and safe trip, and he even provided us with additional

Incredible tour that truly gave us a feel for Sri Lanka - We had a great experience on our tour to Sigiriya! Everything went smoothly and the sites were incredible. The views from the top of Sigiriya are truly breathtaking. Our driver Sanchitha was one of the best parts of the trip. He spoke great English, was very punctual, super friendly, and truly cared about our well-being. He made the 3-4 hour drive each way feel like no time and took a stop when we needed it. We would definitely encourage everyone to go on this tour!

Great Experience!! - I went with my partner on this tour. Our driver had a great personality, excellent tour guide and very informative. He picked us up from our hotel and got us home safely. The car is clean and comfortable, and we had great conversations. The tour itself was great and definitely a must when in Sri Lanka. We highly recommend!

Trip Highlight - This was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. Mr Sanchitha is very hospitable and courteous.
The bonus was also going to visit the villages (cost USD15) and taking a boat ride out to the lake.
My tip: make sure you carry cash so you can tip (give gratitude) to the locals who provide a service to you. These people are humble and honest and are very deserving of it.
We’ll definitely be back for other tours!

Sigiriya - Sanchitha @ Colombo provided an Amazing trip and local tour guide expertise which costomized to limited visiting time. He showed care, being nice and friendly and easy to go out with. We felt comfortable to stay in car for long period of time like being one of our friends and also back to hotel safely.
