A highlight of our holiday - Very friendly. Enjoyed the wine tasting. Do have the charcuterie with the wine tasting! Have found the wine in a lot of the Greek Islands and it is well worth ordering.

Stop along the wine route - The tasting of Cretan wines helped a lot to better understand this island. We were told the history of the winery and we tasted 6 wines. The wines were illustrated to us with care and great passion and were a nice discovery! I found them very special: one of them had a strong banana scent and one of the whites of the highest level. I highly recommend the experience!

Wonderful winetasting @ Douloufakis, by ‘Gergios’ - It was amazing. We had choice out of a wide array of wines to taste. ‘Gergios’ (the tour guide) was great and explained everything very clear. Also, he was able to respond to all questions and even explained us how to properly taste the wine.

A great experience. - We booked last minute and was unsure what to expect however we really enjoyed it! We toured the winery, the bottling plant which was fascinating! We followed this up with a wine tasting, tasting 8 different wines in total, enjoy a local charcuterie board with smoked meats, different cheeses, fava beans, honey and more, all very locally sourced. All worked well with the great wines! Would highly recommend for a nice relaxing afternoon

Perfect Wine Tasting - Great tour with great wines and food. We could choose the wines we want to taste and even got one more. I can absolutely recommend the tour. You get awesome value for the 30€ per Person.

Passion for wine - It was a good story and fine wines. English was spoken well and people clearly knew business. A nice experience and after the tasting you could still drive responsibly.

Amazing award winning winery with a range of grape varieties and styles of wine - Amazing award winning winery. We decided to visit having bought some of their wines from Maltby & Greek in the UK, and coincidentally we happened to be on a cruise stopping in Heraklion, Crete. It was less than 30 minutes in a taxi. We arrived with the family and received an extremely friendly welcome from the host Georgios. We had a tour of the wine making process, and one of the vineyards, followed by wine tasting in the vineyard. Douloufakis produce an excellent range of wines, using different varieties of grape and in different styles. I highly recommend a visit to learn more and explore the different aromas and tastes.

The wine was very good and it was a generous dégustation
