Excellent lodge and experience in the Amazon - My family and I really enjoyed our time at the Tucan Lodge in Cuyabeno. The guides for the lodge were knowledgeable. The rooms are simple but comfortable, with private bathrooms, porches, and hot water. The food was a highlight - it was fresh and flavorful with unique local dishes. There were a lot of activities that provided a good sense of the communities in the area and lots of opportunities to view an astounding amount of wildlife (monkeys, caiman, dolphins, spiders, snakes, bats, ants, birds...it really is a bit overwhelming!). Come ready for a muddy adventure (its a rainforest!). We highly recommend and would stay here again.

Fantastic Amazon experiences, fantastic itenary, accommodation and food. - We spent 4 days at the lodge. Firstly, the accommodation was really comfortable (clean, comfy beds, mosquito nets). The rooms and the public toilets/showers were cleaned every day. The food was excellent. The staff were also very attentive to the vegan and vegetarian needs. Between the good organised tours we could swim in the river to keep refreshed. The tours themselves were sometimes challenging for us older folks (my wife and I) but we were always motivated and looked after by the tour leader.

Amazing experience in the Amazon - We had a great time at the Tucan Lodge. The food was delicious, the staff very welcoming and the location by the river was fantastic. You can swim, jump into the water, or just relax in a hammock and watch monkeys nearby. What made our stay even more special was our incredible guide, Carlos. His ability to spot wildlife was unmatched. Thanks to him, we saw anacondas, boas, a caiman, and a wide variety of monkeys and exotic birds. The day trips into the jungle and on the river were full of exciting wildlife and beautiful nature. It was a great place to enjoy the Amazon and I can recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the Jungle in Ecuador!

Great crack !!! - This place is astounding, my girlfriend Kira and I have had the best time. The staff are all friendly and accommodating and always tended to our needs. The dorms are incredibly comfortable and the mosquito nets work efficiently to eliminate any mosquito threat.

Simply breathtaking - Just breathtaking! Really highly recommended, tours, lodge, food staff just top! I booked the lodge simply via WhatsApp based on recommendations. Everything went super fast and easy. Pick up was in Quito, overnight drive to the Amazon. While other lodge bookers got off beforehand, we drove up to the edge of the Amazon with first views and breakfast. After that we went 3.5 hours by canoe to the lodge on the way we already saw some animals. Food, accommodation were top! The staff were introduced by name, the guides are also the owners of the lodge and some grew up in the Amazon. We did more tours than indicated in the description. Were several times in the lagoon for sunset swimming. Especially great is the relaxation area by the river with hammocks, yoga mats, armchairs! There was free water, coffee, tea and cocoa throughout the day. Mind you, it's homegrown. On the descent we were able to plant our own tree on the edge of the Amazon and leave a dedication. Easy to recommend!

Tucan Lodge is a wonderful experience. - We saw a million species of flora and fauna and the guide was extremely informative. The immensity of the forest was overwhelming and so spectacular.
