Couldnt reccomend this enough! - I couldn’t put this into words if I tried ! We had the most magical experience in the Amazon thanks to the amazing people at Tucan Lodge- everything from the knowledge, to the food and the accomodation is top notch. It is clear that so much effort and care is put into every detail here. The experience is jam packed full of wildife, outdoor excursions, local food and great people. Paul our guide was as fun as he was knowledgable, and we left feeling like we had made so many new friends. Even more important to note that supporting this Ecuadorian owned business is the best way to spend your money visiting this part of the Amazon

Unforgettable Amazon experience with Tucan Lodge - We stayed in Cuyabeno for 4 nights 5 days. We were picked up at 11 at night at the Secret Garden Inn in Quito, the trip was long to the bridge where the boat starts, but the bus was very comfortable and we could sleep. Additional we had a stop for delicious local breakfast before taking the route to the lodge by boat. From the bridge they explained the importance of the Reservation and along the way we could see animals and birds, it was wonderful, the boats are very comfortable with chairs and safety vests. At the lodge the attention is excellent, every day delicious local food, we learned to make coffee and cocoa from the bean and also visit us an indigenous group where we learned to make arepas of cassava from the plant. Everyone in the Reservation is excellent, our Dario Guide made our experience unforgettable, a magical and quiet place to connect with nature, really highly recommended, all people from the kitchen to the boat drivers are too friendly, I felt at home. the room was super with private bathroom, hot water! all with mosquito netting! Tip: bring anti mosquito and organic anti mosquito soap as we do a lot of damage to nature with chemicals!

I want to go back! - This is the fourth time I go to Cuyabeno because it is one of my favorite places in Ecuador. My first time at Cuyabeno Tucan Lodge. Definitely the love of all the staff makes the difference. The staff is excellent, great tour guides and the food is delicious (they have vegetarian options) I spent my birthday night enjoying the stars and the full moon. Excellent Amazon experience - DO IT! - Absolutely incredible trip to the Amazon. Tucan lodge staff were fantastic and looked after our every need. It was well beyond my expectations to r the money we paid, such amazing value. The list of animals we saw is too long to list here but otters, caiman, dolphins, anaconda and 8 different species of monkey were our favourites! Ronald was our hero/guide. Incredible stay in the amazonas - I had a great time at tucan lodge! We have seen many animals and I really enjoyed the excursiones and liked to get to know the area a bit better. The people working at the lodge are pretty nice too. :)

Amazing animals - Carlos is an amazing guide, he is so good at pointing out different birds/animals- toucan, blue and yellow macaw, monkeys, sloths, caiman. Very fun tour and great accommodation and food
