Trekking Salkentay 3 days, and others.. - We did the Salkentay trek in 3 days. More than trekking is a crossing! Everything went perfectly, especially the punctuality and coordination in the transfers, as well as communication with the coordinator. We also made Huacachina Desert and Mountain of Colors. There are things to improve, we would have liked them to be longer somewhere, but we understand that they are armed in a way by long distances, and by meeting schedules. We will come back for another experience!

Spectacular views! - We had an amazing experience during our trek! Every aspect of the trip was planned meticulously by the company. A special shoul out to our guide (Juan Carlos) who was very patient and knowledgeable about the conditions on the trek. The accomodations and chef prepared meals were very enjoyble. We did a 4D3N trek and in hindsight should have chosen a longer trek given different levels of conditioning in members of our group. Loved out trip and highly recommend Machu Picchu Viajes Peru for any Andean adventure!

Unforgettable - Good people, writes Tomas of Argentina. We did the tour with blackberry my girlfriend and we were guided by Juan Carlos. It’s not easy to share all the time with a person you don’t know but honestly it was one of our best life experiences. Juan Carlos was not only a guide but a friend, in addition to knowing the roads perfectly, we had the honor, thanks to him, to learn a lot from the amazing culture this country has to offer its travelers. On the other hand, the agency fulfilled absolutely everything described and more. Eternally grateful to one of the best trips we made and to have been able to meet this great friend, Juan Carlos today. We will meet again without a doubt. Tomas and Mora of Argentina

JuanCa & the argentinians - Hey everyone! Mora & Tomas here. Argentinian couple that did the 2 night 3 day salkantay trek + humantay lake just because we are crazy and we asked for :). Our experience with Macchu Pichu Viajes was amazing. We booked a month and a half in advance with Freddie the owner and then met our guide Juanca the night before for a very important briefing. From the beggining it was a 100% match between the three of us! We knew we would have a lot of fun, and thats exactly what happened. Apart from the outstanding views, delicious food, and exhausting trails (that we did in record time!) Juanca became our friend. He expressed peruvian story with a lot of love and was inspiring. We laughed and shared argentinian mate, cold beers and enjoyed learning from each others culture. The organization was 10/10. Nothing to complain about and would repeat. Juanca you will be our man of honor remember 💍 plan your words! See you soon buddy.

Unexpected, challenging, but extraordinary - The tour is difficult to describe. The route is challenging, full of moving scenery and the company of the agency team is indispensable to achieve it. The tour of Lares and Ruta del Inca is VERY well thought out. It has cultural overtones in every space and the staff in charge takes care of every detail. Since before arriving in Peru, Fredy was concerned to solve every doubt and correct any mistakes or forgetfulness on my part or my partner. Upon arrival in Cusco, a day before the start of the trip he arrived with an envelope printed with the name of those who traveled and the necessary tickets, delivering tour information, some precautions and various recommendations. Always flexible and consulting food restrictions, special needs and reporting previous experiences to analyze. Trekking through an open-top museum that changes landscapes every mile is certainly a great way to unwind. In the most demanding parts from the physical point of view the team of guides advised us and accompanied us with practical and spiritual advice, which made it possible to reach the goal, with a lot of humor and respect for the landscape and our own difficulties that became present to reach 4,700 msnv and keep us on hikes of up to 8 hours. Having travelled in several countries, on several continents, I must say that this is the best agency I have ever travelled with.

Never too old, just having the right attitude. - This was the holiday of a lifetime for me and I did the trek with Alpaca Expeditions. At 68 I was twice the age of the group I was with and the encouragement I got from the guides Nialton and Isact was incredible. Between the Porters, Chefs and guides this was a brilliant group, dedicated to the experience of their guests and left no stone unturned in fulfilling that role.

Amazing. - The most amazing thing I've ever done. I am a 50-year-old woman who has never done a multi-day hike before. I did the 4 day Inca hike with my guide. Juancarlos was accompanied with another woman and 3 other people for this 3-night adventure. It was amazing, and both physically and mentally challenging. We experience all weather conditions; rain, hail, snow and heat. We saw a beautiful experience we went through rivers, mountains, high jungle and of course Machu Picchu. They specialize in customizing their services in smaller groups, it was perfect for me. I saw other larger groups that were so scattered along the way. He also helped me make sure I had all the clothes, they gave us sleeping bags and canes...

Salkantay trek - I did the private tour with my partner: Salkantay trek to Machupichu for 4 days. The accompaniment of Juan Carlos (guide) was very good and so was Edwin's food. Although I felt very bad and couldn't do the second day where you have to go to the Salkantay Pass at 5000 meters high, that's why we had to choose another route. It was clear that the company had no other option and we fixed the situation as best we could (so as not to lose the entire tour we had paid for). What we finally did was return from Mollepata to Ollataytambo (with a van that belonged to another company and then a taxi that we had to pay for ourselves). We stayed the night in Ollataytambo, and from then on we had to cover all expenses (despite having paid them 1,400 dollars for the entire tour). I understand that it was a personal situation, where I could not follow the tour as they sold it, but it was very frustrating not to see a solution already established, and on top of that having spent more money. We even had to pay the guide for his bus trip to the hydroelectric plant. I recommend the company and the tour, ONLY, if you are sure that you are going to do it completely.
