The tour begins with a hotel pickup at 3:30 AM. Guests will then travel by bus for three hours to Hanchipacha village for breakfast. After breakfast, the journey continues for another 15 minutes to Kayrawiri village to start the ATV adventure. -
Rainbow Mountain - Enjoy a 20-minute ATV ride, taking in breathtaking views of mountains, rivers, and unique landscapes, with plenty of llamas and alpacas along the way. In Qosqopata, guests will take a motorcycle ride with a driver to Rainbow Mountain, a 7-minute journey, followed by a short 5 to 7-minute walk to reach the main viewpoint for stunning photos before the crowds arrive.
Arrival at Rainbow Mountain is scheduled for 9:00 AM, with one hour to explore and enjoy the site with the guide.
After visiting Rainbow Mountain, guests will walk back for approximately 25 minutes to Qosqopata village to retrieve the ATVs. Once everyone has returned, the group will ride the ATVs for one hour back to the ATV base, with an estimated arrival time of 12:00 PM. Lunch is included in the district of Cusipata. -
Cusco - Guests will be dropped off at their respective hotels.
NOTE: Drop-off is only available at hotels in the city center.

The meeting point will be at the main square of Cusco, specifically at the water fountain located in the center of the main square. Our guide, holding a red flag, will be waiting for you in the center of the square and will then take you to the bus.

Best ATV tour for Rainbow Mountain - Excellent guide and driver with all our needs met. Brilliant food for breakfast and lunch. Helpful suggestions for the hike and guided ATV ride

This was an amazing... - This was an amazing experience. The ATV and dirtbike was so easy. The views were beautiful. Our guides were fabulous. I would do it again. The food was good and the van was comfortable.

Great Rainbow Mountain experience! - Our trip to Rainbow Mountain was amazing! The company was very communicative and prompt in our pickup time. We loved the breakfast and lunch stops and having the opportunity to purchase additional warm clothing prior to the experience (a must!). Our tour guide was Edgar who was friendly and helpful, and helped us out by lending us money when we didn’t have enough soles for the motorcycle ride to the summit. The ATVs were fun and exciting and the surroundings of the mountains were incredible to behold!

Beautiful Experience! (Shirley was our guide) - We got picked up at 3am from our bnb by a driver that drove us to the Plaza de armas, where we got into a van with 10/12 other people. Our guide Shirley was the nicest person, she explained everything and gave us tips to avoid elevation sickness. We drove 1hr & 40 mins to our first destination in Cosipata, where we had breakfast around 5am(this is the same place we come back to for lunch). We then took a 2hr ride to where we rode the ATVs, which were super easy to control( my bf rode it, I was riding behind. They gave us helmets!). We rode them for a few minutes where we then walked up to take pictures. We came back down after an hour, rode the ATVs. I would recommend using the restrooms everytime you can, they charge you 2 soles. Bundle up, it’s freezing there!! We ate lunch around 11, headed back to Cusco around 12, got back around 1:30pm. The whole experience was worth it! The elevation sickness is no joke. Thank you Shirley! 🫶🏼🦙

Great tour! - I was a little hesitant to book this tour because usually I book tours with even higher ratings and more reviews, but this was actually awesome. There was prompt communication well in advance of pick up via WhatsApp, and everything ran to schedule. We were a group of 12. Some couples chose to only use one ATV so I think we had eight or nine ATVs going.
On the bus back, we passed another group who are also doing an ATV tour but who seem to be starting at a much further point than us. My thought was that we had more than enough ATV time, probably 50 minutes in total (20 mins up, 20 mins down, plus 10 mins to another nice viewpoint at the end), and I actually was very glad we were not those other people on that other tour, because I think it would’ve just been too much.
All the equipment work well, and the guides were very nice and organized and generously offered to take many photos. I got tons of great rainbow Mountain pics and was really happy with this tour.
Another thing to mention is that after the 20 minute ATV ride up the mountain, there is another segment until you reach the top. You can either walk which takes 40 to 50 minutes, or motorcycle or horse ride for 70 soles. Our entire group took the motorcycles which only took maybe five minutes and was very easy and gave us lots of time at the mountain top. Then we all walked down which is much easier than walking up.

Wilson Family review - The RBM tour was good an the and the ATV ride was also good. I would have liked more information about the food because of diet for two member of my family. All in all I would recommend this tour to friends and other family members.

This Rainbow Mountain Experience is Epic if You Can Handle the Long Drive - What an epic experience! The combined ATV-hike to the summit of Rainbow Mountain was straight-up magical with views that had us gasping in awe. Our photos, while beautiful, hardly did justice to the spellbinding scenes from the top. And leading us through it all was a wonderful guide, Danny, who was both friendly and helpful.
The only reason I did not give five stars is because the transportation to and from Rainbow Mountain (a tourist van) was cramped and not very comfortable, which made the long drive especially hard on my 6'0 partner. Anyone over 5'9 should try to snag the few seats with leg room or find another option altogether, because you will spend more than 6 hours commuting back and forth.

Misleading ad - This tour is misleading. The atv’s do not take you any further than a car would. You still have to hike a significant amount or pay for an additional ride on a motorcycle. I booked this excursion thinking that it would save on walking and it does not. Save the money and book a normal trip to rainbow mountain. The mountain itself was great!
