- Rainbow Mountain - Enjoy a 20-minute ATV ride, taking in breathtaking views of mountains, rivers, and unique landscapes, with plenty of llamas and alpacas along the way. In Qosqopata, a 7-minute motorcycle ride with a driver will take you to Rainbow Mountain, followed by a short 5 to 7-minute walk to the main viewpoint for stunning photos before the crowds arrive. Arrival at Rainbow Mountain is at 9:00 AM, with 1 hour to explore with the guide. Afterward, a 25-minute walk back to Qosqopata village will lead to the ATVs. Once everyone returns, a 1-hour ATV ride will take you back to the base, with an estimated arrival at 12:00 PM. Lunch is included in the district of Cusipata.
- Cusco - Guests will be dropped off at their respective hotels. NOTE: Drop-off is only available for hotels in the city center, with the final stop at Plaza de Armas of Cusco City.

The meeting point will be at the main square of Cusco, specifically at the water fountain located in the center of the main square. Our guide, holding a red flag, will be waiting for you in the center of the square and will then take you to the bus.

Full-Day Rainbow Mountain Adventure with ATV - Everything went very well from start to finish. Daniel, our guide, and Jorge, our driver, were excellent. From the very beginning, I felt safe and well taken care of. It’s important to be patient during pickup time since they collect other travelers as well, but the process was organized and smooth.
I highly recommend dressing warmly, especially during the rainy and cold season. In our case, it even snowed. The altitude didn’t affect me, but Daniel and his team were always attentive, checking in to make sure everyone was feeling okay and explaining clearly how to handle the ATVs.
The food was delicious—I honestly ate more than expected because everything tasted so good. The transportation was comfortable, and since the trip to and from the mountain is done by van, you can leave extra belongings there. Bringing a small pillow or blanket makes the ride even more comfortable.
I’m very grateful for the entire experience and strongly encourage supporting the local team with a tip. I highly recommend this tour—the ATVs make the experience much easier and allow you to fully enjoy Rainbow Mountain.

An adventure to rainbow mountain - The breakfast and lunch buffet had so many options it was really good! We drank a lot of tea before going to rainbow mountain due to the high altitude. Tour guides were kind and informative.

A great experience! - Excellent tour, medicate for height and go well warm. But above all, ready to enjoy because this tour is a complete success.
The tour is wonderful, very safe and the food place has very rich options.
Taking the ATV tour was the best decision we could have made, not only because of the effort to climb but also because of the possibility to take another tour before delivering the ATVs.
You will not regret it!!

Wonderful scenery! - Be prepared for a long day. Also, ensure you travel knowing the weather can change rapidly so multiple layers and rain gear may be necessary. I would only do this trip after one to two days of acclimation in Cusco. The guides did a great job shuttling us to each step of this adventure because the changes between bus, ATV, motorbike and bike and be complicated and quick.

Best ATV trip to Rainbow Mtn ever! - We had the absolute best time on our ATV tour. The guides were incredibly nice and the meal stops were super yummy! Getting to see Rainbow Mountain was one of the highlights of my life. Make sure to bring extra soles if you want to get the motorcycle to the top instead of walking the trail.

What a wonderful day! ... - What a wonderful day! Our guide Luis was superb. So friendly and helpful. He was very patient as I slowly trailed behind the group and he kindly continued to offer encouragement; a great choice for my solo day trip! I’d recommend this ATV tour to anyone. Bring soles for the bathroom and other goodies. I’d highly recommend the coca candies to help with the altitude.

Long Drive, Short Visit, confirm visibility before traveling - It is 3.5 hours to get from Cusco to Rainbow mountain parking lot.
On the way there you stop at a buffet for breakfast - it was very good food ... hot drinks included but cold drinks (including water) on your own. Upon arrival at the Mountain, you get an overview of the ATVs for about 10 minutes, then drive up the path to the mountain (about 20 minutes) ... then about 20-30 minutes on the mountain (you can walk up an additional 200 meters to the peek but not required to see Rainbow mountain views.
On our visit day, there was snow on the ground so you must be aware that you may not get to see the vibrant colors ...
Altitude is over 16K feet so be prepared for some huffing and puffing even for the short distance. We had finished the 4-day Machu Picchu trek the day before, so we were acclimated. It is about 15 minutes down the hill on the ATVs and then reverse on the shuttle ... stopping for a great lunch at the same buffet location.
Bottom Line: You must be prepared for alot of driving (we slept because of finishing the trek the previous day). You meet at 0300 for departure. Food was great. Sights were subdued because of the snow. temps were amazingly warm.

Very nice day trip. - After a very early morning start (3:30am) they drive you to the restaurant for breakfast. After that they drive you for other 10 minutes to the ATPs depot where they explain you how to operate them and have a little practice drive.
You then go directly at the parking at the bottom for the mountain and then you get the motorbike (driven by locals) to near the top. You have a 5-10 mins easy hike to the peak. After 30-40 mins you walk back (or you can choose to take another bike ride down).
After that you go back on the ATPs, drive down and take a detour (about 40 mins) to take some more picture of the glacier.
You return the ATPs and go for lunch for an early lunch (around 11:00am).
Once you finished lunch they drive you back to Cusco.
The entrance to the mountain (25 PEN) not included, also the motorbike is not included (30 PEN each way).
All in all definitely a fun day out.

Rainbow mountain - Our guide spoke little English. Hard to communicate. They told us pickup at 3:30 and didn’t show till 4:20. With no phone call. Description was misleading. Thought we were riding atvs and motorcycles. Only rode atvs. It was foggy and barely saw the mountain (not your fault). Back tire was loose and the had to stop 4 times to check the noise. At lunch they tightened the tire and it was ok.
All in all a fun tour but the details made it a little stressful.
