Off season tour was spectacular - December is off season. Crowds are less. Weather is good. A private tour is a must, otherwise you’ll miss so much. Choose a licensed guide. Book well in advance.

Wow wow wow - Machu Picchu is simply breathtaking. The site is majestic, rich in history, and filled with a unique energy. The landscapes are stunning, and the harmony between nature and Inca architecture is truly impressive.
No photo can capture the feeling of being there.
An unforgettable experience — a must-see at least once in a lifetime.

You have to see it to appreciate it. - Early morning bus up to Machu Picchu.
Less crowds, no queues. We had an amazing guide who was with us from Aguas Calientes until our return. I recommend Circuit 3 as it’s the most comprehensive. Three hours of amazement and detailed explanations of everything. Take lots of water and apply sun cream regularly, the sun and UV are very strong. A wonderful experience.

WONDERFUL - The visit to the historic shrine of Machu Picchu is fascinating, wonderful, we went with guided tour and took Circuit 2 (I recommend) the visit lasts about three hours which is the maximum allowed.

The Machu Picchu Family Tour - Visiting Machu Picchu with my family was an unforgettable experience! We opted for a guided tour, and let me tell you, it made all the difference. Our guide was full of fascinating stories and insights that brought the ancient ruins to life. Walking through the terraces and temples, I could almost feel the energy of the Inca civilization. Plus, the breathtaking views at every turn were simply jaw-dropping. If you're thinking about going, definitely get a guide — they’ll enhance your trip tenfold. Trust me, this place is a must-see!

Awesome experience - Our day started with a 3:30 AM pick up from hotel in Cusco our tour was scheduled for 8:00 AM with a car ride train ride and bus ride we finally got there at nine AM we had to fill out form stating why we were late luckily our tour guide was with us since we got into aguas calientes. Machu Picchu is gorgeous but there’s a lot of walking we did circuit two and there is lots of steps so people with mobility issues my have a hard time . You have to climb up a lot of stairs to begin the tour inside the city. I purchased a hiking stick which help tremendously the tour lasted around two hours and was very interesting. The day we visited was like the perfect day not too hot not cold but bring water because it’s a lot of walking Ang you will get thirsty and make sure to use the restroom before going in there’s no restroom in the ruins.i carried a backpack with me so I could have something to put my sweater and water in. I was not bothered by and mosquitoes but you may need some repellent I didn’t but brought some with me.You have to take your passport to get into Machu Picchu can’t be a copy so don’t forget it. We purchased a tour package that included pickup from hotel car ride train ride and bus ride and admission into Machu Picchu and tour guide for 360 US dollars pp. we paid two months in advance because we read that slots can fill up if you wait until the time of your trip.I think it was worth it because we didn’t have to worry about anything and it did include lunch after the tour we got back to our hotel around 6.30 PM long day but but very fulfilling.

Tour of Machu Picchu with Roberto Alvarez Molina - Some friends recommended Roberto, having used him for their tour. What a top tip that was. Excellent comms, met on time at the place he suggested.
Roberto gave us an excellent and very informative tour, so much so we did a different circuit with him the next day.
Would definitely recommend!

Spectacle degenerated into a nap - Machu Picchu is or was a unique experience. However, in the meantime, this gem has degenerated into an unworthy tourist spectacle that is no longer worth visiting. Over a million visitors a year dwarf even overtourism in Venice. The result is hours of queuing or waiting in the valley all year round to get to the mountain at some point at the booked time slot of 2.5 hours - by the way, the unavoidable short bus transfer costs another 20 dollars, which, however, is no longer significant in terms of the total cost of the visit from 250 US dollars upwards. Conclusion: a state still greatly understated with “Nepp”, which is second to none in the world.
