Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain - We will be passing by your accommodation wherever you are staying, preferably within the historic center of the city of Cusco, the pick-up starts at approximately 4:00 am.
Then we will head to the south of Cusco , to the town of Cusipata where we will have our first stop to have breakfast.
Before reaching the town of Palccoyo we will make a stop to take some photos of the attraction of the colonial bridge and the Inca bridge.
Arriving at the Palccoyo Mountain (4,900 masl), we will have free time to photograph and enjoy the place. We will also be able to observe part of Nevado Ausangate.
We will return to the parking lot to return to Cusipata where we will have lunch and finally we will return to the city of Cusco (arrival approximately at 18:00 hrs), our mobility will leave you one block from the Plaza de Armas (Plaza Regocijo ) - Cusco - tour finish

From there, we’ll journey southwards to the town of Cusipata for our first stop and breakfast. Your pick-up will begin from your chosen lodging, ideally located in Cusco’s historic city center, at around 4:00 am. From there, we’ll journey southwards to the town of Cusipata for our first stop and breakfast. On our way to Palccoyo town, we’ll pause for photographing the scenic views of the colonial and Inca bridges. Once we reach Palccoyo Mountain (4,900 meters above sea level), you’ll enjoy some leisure time for photography and sightseeing, including views of Nevado Ausangate. We’ll then make our way back to the parking area, before returning to Cusipata for lunch. Our trip concludes in Cusco city at approximately 6:00 pm, with drop-offs within a block of the Plaza de Armas (Plaza Regocijo).

Amazing Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain Tour - We decided to take the tour to the less popular The Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain, and we are so glad we did! The ride there was scenic, and the vast scenery of the location was one of our favourite after travelling South America for 4 months! Our tour guide Edwin was lovely, with great knowledge and a fun sense of humour. You also stop for a buffery breakfast and lunch which made the whole day even better value. Highly recommend!

A great Experience - The views were amazing and different every few hundred metres. The walk was not as difficult as we imagined. Our guide was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Go to Palcoyo with Wally. 10/10 - We went with Wally and it was 10/10.
We did a thank-you ritual with him, we had enough time to take pictures, he was always watching the group.

Great excursion - Beautiful breathtaking mountains! and not with a crazy amount of tourists. The hike felt a bit hard with the altitude but manageable. Totally worth it. Breakfast wasn’t too good, lunch wasn’t bad.

Messy pick up, alright food, but everything else was incredible! - Like other reviews say, the pick up was a little bit messy. We were told to be ready at 5:45am but we got a call at 5:00am sharp telling us to be ready in 10 minutes. We asked for 20 minutes because we were not yet ready. They ended up picking us up at 6:05am so we felt rushed for no reason just to end up waiting... Aside from that though, the tour was amazing, our tour guide was very accommodating and friendly. Checked in with us often on how we were feeling. The food stop was alright, not horrible but nothing amazing. The hike up the mountain was very difficult and some of us in the group weren't able to keep up so we went at our own pace. The views were beautiful and the tour guide made sure we were all safe. Highly recommend!

Amazing views of rainbow mountains - The views were absolutely amazing and the tour went smoothly. Unfortunately I got altitude sickness on the way up, but Wally the tour guide was very helpful and aided me along the way, checking up on me frequently. The food could have been better, but otherwise great experience.

Very poor experience, despite good landscapes - Rainbow mountain is good to visit but this tour was not a good experience. I booked an English speaking tour but the guide did not speak any English at all, and ignored requests from the English speaking group members to translate important information. The van ride was incredibly uncomfortable and despite it being super hot, the tour operators did not turn on the air conditioning until the tour members started begging from the back seats.
The breakfast and lunch was at a very mediocre and unhygienic restaurant, so I would recommend bringing your own food.
Positives include that they provided coca leaves to chew at rainbow mountain, which helped with the altitude.
The rainbow mountains themselves are also quite nice to look at and take pictures of.
If you really want to visit rainbow mountain, I'd suggest booking with a different company.
