Do this when you’re in Cusco - This was an awesome experience! I would recommend doing this towards the end of your time in Cusco because if you do this in the beginning then you’ll have nothing to do during your trip since you saw everything thing at once. But if you do it at the end you can see better views of things you might’ve seen and things you missed out on. I recommend going on the top of the bus for better views unless you have a bad motion sickness.

Fun way to see the city - This was a last-minute tour for us, and I'm so glad we decided to do it. It's a perfect way to see the sites when you first arrive and are still acclimating to the altitude. The guide was great and spoke very good English. You do not get off the bus at the archeological sites, but seeing them from the road was fine for us. We also got to participate in a very interesting spiritual ceremony. The pickup was a little confusing, but if you just wait at the meeting point someone will come and get you.

Really Fun - Great value, really fun. Bus visits many points of interest with numerous stops to get off and explore. Start time was right on!

Not for me - Not for me. Probably I misunderstood what it was. We spent most of the time seating in a bus and there are only two real stops. One at a place where they are trying to sell you alpaca textiles that includes an Inca ceremony using coca leaves. The other is at a view point with stoning views of Cusco. It does not include visiting any arqueological sites.

Not great but did the job - I hesitated to take this trip as the reviews were mixed. However I was approached in the street and thought, why not? The good thing about it was that it took you around all the main sights. However the sound system was so bad that I couldn't work out whether it was English, Spanish or Quechua. The main place it took you to was a kind of cultural village experience. I thought this was going to be different stops, based on the information, but no. They took us in and sat us down for some kind of ceremony with the 'maestro', who I think was a shamen. Hard to know if it was real or all a bit of drama for the tourists but I didn't actually want to repeat a load of words in an unknown language. Either it's real and that could do something (but who knows what?) or it's a load of mumbo jumbo. I chose not to participate but some of the others seemed to be having a meaningful experience. From there we were taken to see a weaving demonstration, and encouraged to buy the products. There were a few llamas outside to see and there was also someone selling drinks and cheese empanadas. And there was a great view over Cusco. We drove past the main architectural sites, as advertised. The only other stop was at the 'Cristo', the large white statue of Jesus overlooking the town. I've been to see a few of these in South America but this was the least laid out in terms of paths and car parks. There were buses and tourists everywhere and an equal number of stands selling tourist merchandise. I think Jesus would have been turning over the tables and chasing the merchants out. Anyway, from there we went back to the city. Things to be aware of: although it says 'suitable for most' it isn't really. I joined at the Plaza de Armas although I think other people may have joined further away. From there it is a good two and a half blocks walking uphill to reach the bus. It's quite a trek. You are told you sit upstairs, so you have to be able to do that. Eventually I gave up and sat downstairs, which didn't have the proper seats in, just dirty bench seats along the sides, with no seat belts of course. There are pictures across the windows so you can't see our properly. So really it's upstairs or nothing. When we stopped there was no kerb so the step up to get on the bus was huge (over a foot) and I needed to be helped on. There was a poor old lady there who was helped on by her family, who left her on her own downstairs. It wasn't comfortable down there and she wouldn't have seen anything. She wouldn't have got anything from the experience as she wasn't able to get on or off either. It was OK. I would hope there were better types but I wouldn't guarantee it.

Weird - It was just weird. They took us in some back yard tin shed and they performed some pagan ritual over us without consent. Unless you’re into pagan religious practices then I don’t recommend it.

Do not waste your time or money - The best thing about this "tour" is to get off the bus, they call it a city tour and only give you a walk around the block the rest is just wasted time (2 hours of nothing) just to get you money as a tourist, selling Inca liquor, alpaca clothes and a daunting "Inca ceremony", I die of cold and boredom, one thing is to see your face as a tourist another is to be seen shamelessly, a scam, I let the operators know, I hope they value the tourist of the future since they live by this but it is not the way to sustain it. DON'T TAKE IT.

Worst tour in Cusco - I believe it is the worst tour in Cusco. If you have 2 hours to waste in the city, go do it. People only take you outside the ruins, there's no option to enter, then they take you to a village just to try to sell you clothes and green corn.
