Discovering the Rich Biodiversity of Manu

Manu National Park - On the second day, the adventure begins early with a visit to the nearby Macaw Clay Licks. After a 20-minute walk, a spectacular display of various birds at the clay licks awaits. Following this, a hearty breakfast is served back at the lodge.

Next, a two and a half-hour jungle walk delves into Manu’s rich flora and fauna. The guide introduces medicinal plants, and there may be encounters with larger animals like tapirs.

Lunch is served at the lodge, followed by some relaxation during the hottest part of the day. As evening approaches, a night walk around Caiman Lake offers a chance to spot nocturnal wildlife before returning to the lodge for dinner. The night is spent at the TREEHOUSE INN, nestled in the jungle’s heart.

Manu Jungle Experience

Return to Cusco
