• Ollantaytambo - 04:00 am - Hotel pick-up for transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo. The journey by bus or car takes approximately two hours.

06:10 am - Board the train to the village of Aguas Calientes.

• Aguas Calientes - 08:30 am - Arrival in Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. Upon arrival, a representative from our agency will greet you and your companions to commence the tour of this world wonder. Initially, you’ll have a few minutes to grab a snack, make a purchase, or use the restrooms.

10:00 am - Board the bus to the Inca citadel, a trip that takes about 25 minutes.

• Machu Picchu - Upon reaching the entrance, join the group led by our official guide.

11:00 am - Enter the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu (if you have a ticket for any of the mountains, entry is earlier; coordinate with the guide or travel agent a day prior). The tour begins on a path leading to the first terrace, where you can capture the iconic photo of Machu Picchu. It’s a breathtaking view, so enjoy!

Around 2:00 pm, the guided tour concludes, allowing time to explore areas where photos were missed. If desired, review the lunch options available for that day.

• Aguas Calientes - 04:30 pm - Bus back to Aguas Calientes. Exit the citadel and wait for your turn to board the bus. Upon arrival in the village, you have a few hours to explore the artisan market or stroll through its narrow streets. For lunch, we recommend the Alpakitay tourist restaurant, offering a beautiful view of the river. A noteworthy tip: mention our agency, My Cusco Trip, for a complimentary pisco sour.
• Ollantaytambo - 09:00 pm - Board at Machu Picchu Pueblo train station.

09:30 pm - Train departs back to Ollantaytambo station.

11:00 pm - Arrival at Ollantaytambo train station. Upon exiting, an agency representative will assist you in boarding the bus back to Cusco. Remember, there are many people at the station, so stay calm and look for the transfer or driver waiting for you. Identify them by the sign with your name or the llama icon with glasses.

• Cusco - 12:45 am - Arrival in Cusco, disembarking at Plaza San Francisco (three blocks from the central Plaza de Armas). From there, walk or take a taxi to your hotel, where your room will be ready for a well-deserved rest after such an amazing adventure.
