Ollantaytambo - Scenic Train Ride to Aguas Calientes

Board your scenic train to Aguas Calientes (also known as Machu Picchu Town) between 6:40 AM and 7:20 AM. Sit back and relax as you take in breathtaking views of the Sacred Valley, passing towering mountains, lush valleys, and rushing rivers along the way—a perfect preview of the adventure ahead.

To ensure seamless boarding, kindly arrive at the train station at least half an hour before departure.

Hot Springs (Aguas Calientes) - Arrival in Aguas Calientes & Bus to Machu Picchu

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town), the team will greet you and assist with directions before you board the shuttle bus for a scenic 30-minute ride up to Machu Picchu’s entrance.

With your expert guide, explore the legendary Inca citadel, discovering its ancient temples, terraces, and hidden corners while learning the incredible history and mysteries behind this Wonder of the World.

Highly recommend it!!! - I had an amazing time visiting Machu Picchu! Dennis organized everything perfectly, and our guide, Julio, was so friendly and knowledgeable-he really made the experience special. The driver was also fantastic, getting us to and from Ollantaytambo train station with a smile. Machu Picchu itself was breathtaking-absolutely unforgettable. Highly recommend this team for an incredible trip!

Machu Picchu a great day in family - Our trip to Machu Picchu with John and this tour agency was absolutely incredible! This was our second time booking with them, and they delivered yet another flawless experience. The Vistadome train ride was stunning, the service was excellent, and Machu Picchu itself was breathtaking. John, our guide, was knowledgeable and made the history come alive. What made this trip extra special was bringing my family along. Seeing their amazement as we explored the ruins together was unforgettable. The tour agency handled every detail perfectly, and their care and professionalism really stood out. If you re planning a trip to Machu Picchu, I can t recommend them enough. Amazing adventure to Machu Picchu - My experience with this agency was nothing short of magical! After exploring a bit of the Inca Trail on my own, I decided to join this tour, and it was the best decision ever. The guide, Julio, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture of Peru. He made every step of the journey engaging and meaningful. The service was top-notch, and the food was delicious-authentic Peruvian flavors that left me craving more. What really stood out was how everything ran so smoothly and on time, which isn t always common in Peru. I felt like I got to connect deeply with the local people, their customs, and the rich folklore of the region. Thank you, Julio, and the entire team, for making this an unforgettable adventure!

Bucket list site to see with a tour that was organized and informative. - What an amazing day. We had a 4 am start in Cusco. The driver had all the papers we needed for the day. Train ticket, bus ticket, entry into Machu Picchu. Presented in a nice folder! There is a 1 1/2-2 hour drive to the train station. We had time to grab coffee and breakfast in the little shop at the station. The train ride was very comfortable with amazing views of the mountains along the way. I recommend bringing cards or a book. We were met at the station by our tour guide who took us around the town for pictures and we sat for second breakfast! All killing time, waiting for our tour time/bus pick up. The bus up the mountain was steep and I’m afraid of heights so I closed my eyes. At the top are bathrooms and storage for your personal items. I recommend a hat and/or sunscreen! Machu Picchu did not disappoint. We were on circuit three and I would pick it again. We got way more information instead of the classic instagram picture. We still had amazing pictures. Cesar was our tour guide and he was smart and funny! We had a fantastic day with him seeing and learning. The line to the bus was long to leave. I’d recommend one more bathroom break! We had about 1 1/2 hours to explore more of the town and shop! Omg so much beautiful handmade wool items! Then train to car ride home. It was a long day but wow was it amazing.

Amazing time at Machu Picchu - How wonderful an experience! Dennis's wide knowledge and kind manner really added to the specialness of this tour. He welcomed us and was well-prepared throughout. The driver was just as excellent—always on time and polite. Naturally the high point was Machu Picchu, which is really amazing. I would heartily suggest this tour to anyone visiting the area since it well beyond my expectations.

Best tour company! - The organizer, driver, and tour guide were all fantastic! They were all incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating! They all worked diligently to make sure my daughters and I were able to have an amazing experience at Machu Picchu. We did several other tours with different companies while in Peru and Cosmo Expeditions was hands down our favorite! The service was phenomenal, they went above and beyond!

Unforgettable Machu Picchu Adventure with great people. - Our trip to Machu Picchu was simply unforgettable. From our base in Aguas Calientes, we enjoyed a scenic ride up to the ruins. Spending the full day at Machu Picchu was the highlight of our trip. We were lucky to have Ruben as our guide—his deep love for his culture and knowledge of the site truly enriched our visit. He shared fascinating insights and made the history feel vibrant and alive. The beauty of the ruins and the surrounding landscape left us in awe. It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it!
