2 Days of History, Nature, and Excitement” - The 2-day Short Inca Trail was perfect for experiencing the essence of this ancient route without committing to the full 4-day trek. The first day involved a moderate but enriching hike, passing by archaeological sites like Wiñay Wayna and enjoying stunning landscapes. The second day was focused on exploring Machu Picchu with a well-guided tour full of interesting explanations. Everything was well organized—from transportation and lodging to meals. Inca Trail 2 Days: A short trip with a big impact - The 2-day Inca Trail was the perfect combination of adventure and comfort. It was exciting to hike original trails, discover Wiñay Wayna, and arrive at Machu Picchu just as the sun was setting. The feeling of entering Inti Punku is simply magical, something you can't experience arriving by train. The second day was more relaxing, with a guided tour of Machu Picchu and free time to enjoy at leisure. Everything was very well organized, from transportation to meals and accommodations. I highly recommend it if you want to experience the essence of the Inca Trail but can't (or don't want to) do the full 4-day hike.

adventure - My partner and I decided to experience a unique experience on our trip to Peru: the short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, a two-day trek that combines adventure, history, and spectacular landscapes. Everything was organized by the Chullos Travel agency, and the experience was perfect from start to finish. The first day began very early in Cusco, where we were picked up promptly and taken by private transport to the trekking starting point, at kilometer 104 of the railway. From there, we began our hike accompanied by our guide, who was excellent: he spoke excellent English, was friendly, attentive, and had a deep knowledge of Inca history and the nature of the trail. The hike was demanding but very rewarding. We crossed breathtaking landscapes, such as the Wiñay Wayna archaeological site, a hidden gem in the mountains, and walked along original sections of the ancient Inca Trail, surrounded by high jungle, rivers, and lush vegetation. We arrived at the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) in the afternoon, from where we saw Machu Picchu in the distance for the first time, bathed in the light of the sunset. It was a magical moment we shared as a couple, filled with emotion and wonder. That night we slept in Aguas Calientes, and the next day we climbed early to Machu Picchu for a comprehensive guided tour. Our guide accompanied us the entire time and showed us the most important points of the citadel, explaining its history and significance with detail and passion. We had time to explore, take photos, and simply enjoy this special place together. At the end, we returned by train to Ollantaytambo and then by shuttle to Cusco, our hearts full of unforgettable memories. We 100% recommend this experience with Chullos Travel, especially if you are traveling as a couple. The organization, personalized service, and the beauty of the route made this short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu an adventure we will always remember.

Surprising route to Machu Picchu - “The Inca Trail was an unforgettable experience that allowed me to learn about the history and culture of the Incas. The hike through the mountain and cloud forest was exciting and challenging, but the panoramic view of the valley and surrounding mountains was worth it, the agency was very attentive to us and took care of us at all times.” The opportunity to see the Sun Gate and other Inca ruins was fascinating and allowed me to better understand the history and culture of the region. The arrival at Machu Picchu at dawn was impressive and a moment I will never forget and our guide gave us detailed details of each place explaining with great patience and dedication.

Inca trail of the marvelous - What can I say? The most authentic experience we had in Peru. A wonderful country, but now more and more touristic, maybe too much. However, the Inca Trail is still a niche trek. We chose the 1-day option starting from km 104 (arriving by train from Ollantaytambo), approximately 15km arriving at Machu Picchu, passing through Wynay Wayna and the Porta del Sol along the original Inca Trail. Wonderful, absolutely recommended, and basically within the reach of almost everyone.
