Lake Humantay leaving Cusco with Guia Pablo - The path to Lake Humantay is challenging, but every step pays off when you get to the top. We were lucky to have Pablo as a guide, and he was just amazing! During the climb, he accompanied us with patience, always attentive and helpful. Me and my friend, of course, we stayed last (why will it be, huh? 😂) and, even after he recommended several times that we catch a horse from the beginning, only in the half we had to beg for one. Pablo calmly arranged an extra horse and took care of everything with great professionalism. Up there, he gave us time to enjoy the moment, told the history of the lake and even turned out to be a great photographer — recording beautiful memories. The view is surreal: the contrast of the mountains with the turquoise water is breathtaking. The climate is cold, but the feeling of accomplishment of getting there warms the heart. I highly recommend the experience and especially the guide Pablo, which made everything even more special. The next day, we found him again in Mount 7 Colors and the care was the same: he offered us flowering water and, with affection, always asked: “Girls, how are you?” These gestures made all the difference. An unforgettable memory! 🙌✨

Very well worth it - All quite organized and clear! The guide was also very friendly and attentive! The rise to the lake is very challenging, but it was worth it. The whole family was pleased.

Wonderful place. Guide note 10 - The place is unique and wonderful. There is nothing the same in the world. Wilfredo was a dedicated guide, accompanied the whole group with great responsibility. It's a guide and person score 10. I was with mine and my 18-year-old daughter. Requires good physical preparation.

Incredible Hike to Humantay Lake with Team Jonathan! - I had an amazing experience hiking to Humantay Lake with Team Jonathan. Jonathan was an outstanding guide—very organized, knowledgeable, and full of positive energy throughout the entire trip. From the beginning, he made sure everyone was well-prepared and informed, sharing useful tips and insights about the hike and the altitude. His passion for the mountains really came through, and he motivated us all the way up with encouragement and helpful advice. The hike itself was challenging but absolutely worth it—the views of the turquoise lake and snow-capped peaks were breathtaking. What made it even better was having a guide like Jonathan who genuinely cared about our experience and well-being. I highly recommend this hike and Team Jonathan to anyone visiting the Cusco region. You’ll not only enjoy one of the most beautiful landscapes in Peru but also feel supported every step of the way!

Awesome! - Everything was great and our guide Alex was awesome. Our van broke down but he acted quickly and helped us get to our location on time. Also, he checked in with people on the hike which was very sweet. Overall, great experience

Must do - Great hike although challenging. The guide was good. The hike is at your own pace and the guide sets up meeting spots for the group to regroup and head back down to the transport. Breakfast/lunch is decent food.

Wonderful humanatay lake tour - We had an incredible time! Driver Alfredo was amazing and safe but got us there in great times! Tour guide Jonathan was incredible helping all of us. He was going back and forth as the tour seperated because everyone hikes different paces and some took horses. Definitely recommend and worth the trip! Long day but worth it. The restaurant chosen for breakfast and lunch was great too. I got quite sick from the altitude and Jonathan kept checking in on me making sure we were all okay and letting us know meeting points etc.

Good challenging hike, a little rushed - This was a challenging but very worthwhile hike. The view is incredible throughout the entire hike. It’s 7 km there, 7 km back. That’s about 3 km from the bus to the beginning of the trail, and then it’s 4 km up and 4 km down the mountain. I wish this was made more clear in the description of the hike. I am not a super experienced hiker and found it challenging but not impossible. I did feel a little rushed throughout even though I got to the top at the time when we said we’d meet there. The food was surprisingly good for a buffet style meal (I had low expectations). The bus ride was the worst part of the whole experience. Very fast driving through the Sacred Valley which made it hard to sleep because you’re getting thrown around on the turns. Driving fast through these roads seems to be a theme with most tour companies. Bring nausea medicine if you get carsick. It’s three hours there and back, which is miserable if you’re sick.
