- Moray - Next, in 25 minutes we will arrive at the archaeological complex of Moray. Moray has several circular agricultural terraces. According to some historians, these structures were used by the Incas to grow plants from warmer climates.
- Salinas de Maras - Our next stop will be the Maras Salt Mines, which are located 25 minutes from Moray. The Salt Mines contains dozens of square wells of salt water. These wells are filled with salt water that comes from the underground. After being exposed to sunlight, the water evaporates leaving the salt behind. Then, the salt is gathered by the local population and sold at the local market.
-
Urubamba - After exploring the Maras Salt Mines, we will drive to Urubamba town. Urubamba is located in the lowest section of the Sacred Valley, so the climate is a little warmer. We will be having a buffet lunch here.
After having lunch, we will visit the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo. -
Ollantaytambo - We will leave Urubamba after lunch and in 30 minutes we will be in the town and archaeological park of Ollantaytambo. Ollantaytambo is famous for its long stone stairs, which lead to main area of the complex. Like Pisac, Ollantaytambo was an Inca royal palace.
We will also visit the Ollantaytambo town, where you will be able buy some souvenirs. -
Pisac - After exploring Ollantaytambo, the transportation will take us for 1 hour and 30 minutes to the town and archaeological complex of Pisac, located in the Sacred Valley. The town of Pisac is a cozy village located next to the Urubamba river. It has a traditional market where you can buy souvenirs and taste the local food.
On the other hand, the archaeological complex of Pisac is located on a nearby hilltop. It comprises numerous stone buildings that were the houses of the Inca nobility.
After exploring this beautiful place, we will return to Cusco city, where we will be arriving around 7:00 pm.

Great! Affordable!!!! - Highly recommend Pedro from Peru Jungle Trips. I only had a few days in Cusco, so I wanted to see as much as possible in my time frame. Pedro was so helpful in planning out my itinerary, and made sure that I spent New Years Eve seeing Machu Picchu and that I made it in time to Cusco for the countdown. Pedro not only gave me a very affordable rate (and that I know from comparing my quote to other travelers I met), but he was able to find last minute train tickets to and from MP for Dec 31st. He also made sure that at every destination, someone either picked me up or directed me to my next location. And of course, it didn’t go unnoticed that Pedro was constantly checking in on me to see how my activities and trip is going. Pedro genuinely wanted me to have a great holiday trip in Cusco.

Full, fun day of learning... - Full, fun day of learning about Inca history and visiting historical temples. Our guide Andy was fun, knowledgeable and had good command of a large group. He also takes good pictures! As a solo traveler I felt safe and included as he speaks perfect English and Spanish. We stopped by some shops and while some people think that this is a "tourist trap" I enjoyed looking at the local wares. The stop at Chinchero was fun, as I enjoyed watching the local women explain how they make textiles out of alpaca fur. Overall it was a wonderful tour and I highly recommend this company! Thanks Andy for being a professional tour guide!

A Full Day Exploring the Sacred Valley – Worth Every Moment! - We had an amazing day trip from Cusco to the Sacred Valley, packed with visits to numerous archaeological sites. Although it was packed with the tour lasting 12 hours, it was absolutely worth it. Our guide, Warner, was great—friendly and informative, providing explanations in both English and Spanish. The Sacred Valley’s beauty and history are a must-see, and this tour is a fantastic way to experience it all. Highly recommended for those ready for a full, enriching day!

Owner is always watching, likewise all his guides are very professional. - First I went to Machupicchu with them and was very happy, for that same reason I hired the full day tour and the cusco tour.
All your team are very professional and best of all they are not fraudsters.
I recommend it 100%.

Whirl wind tour of the... - Whirl wind tour of the Sacred Valley. Jhonnatan, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared different perspectives of the ruins we were seeing. He encouraged us to learn more and draw our own conclusions. There were a few stops that included information and then there was an opportunity to shop. Several of these places were very expensive. I recommend leaving a tip for the tour and saving shopping for later. Lunch was a buffet so you got the opportunity to try a variety of Peruvian food. Can’t beat the price for this trip.
