Day 1: Cusco, Capital of the Inca Empire

Cusco - Arrive in Cusco, where a warm welcome awaits at the airport, followed by a transfer to the hotel. Enjoy a day at leisure with optional tours available.

Day 2: Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park, Tambomachay, Q’enqo, Puca Pucara.

Sacsayhuaman - Spend a relaxing morning enjoying breakfast at the hotel before preparing for the tour. In the afternoon, ascend to the Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuaman to begin the excursion. Visit the fortress of the same name, a serene location where massive rocks, some reaching 4 meters in height, can be admired. Continue to Q’enqo, an ancient temple of the Puma, featuring an altar for sacrifices within a large rock. Next, visit Tambomachay, known for its sacred fountains of life and health. Enjoy a panoramic view of Puca Pucara, a watchtower that once monitored the city’s entrance. Conclude with a visit to the Temple of the Sun “The Korikancha,” over which the Saint Dominique Convent was constructed. Legend has it that this temple was once covered in gold sheets that amazed the Conquistadors. Finally, explore the Main Square and the Cathedral, home to invaluable colonial paintings and artworks, including the Cross brought by the first conquerors.

Day 3: Sacred Valley, Inca Village of Chinchero, Terraces of Moray and the Inca Village of Ollantaytambo

Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo - Today, explore the most remarkable sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Begin with a visit to the town of Chinchero, the most traditional and picturesque in the Sacred Valley, renowned for its women weavers. Make a brief stop at a textile center to observe ancient Inca techniques for dyeing and spinning Alpaca wool. Visit the Inca plaza with its beautiful colonial church. Continue to Moray, a stunning Inca archaeological site with concentric agricultural terraces used as a laboratory to recreate microclimates. Enjoy lunch before visiting Ollantaytambo, the last living Inca town. Explore the Temple of the Ten Windows, the Baths of the Ñusta, and the Temple of the Sun. The views from the heights of Ollantaytambo will conclude this magical day in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Accommodation in the area.

Day 4: Machu Picchu, The Citadel of the Incas.

Hot Springs (Aguas Calientes) - The highly anticipated day to visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World. Board the train at Ollantaytambo station and depart on the selected train. Arrive at the Machu Picchu station, where staff will assist in boarding the bus that ascends a winding road, offering spectacular views of the Urubamba River, which forms a deep canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, welcomes visitors with its incredible terraces, staircases, ceremonial sites, and urban areas, exuding energy throughout. Enjoy lunch, and at the coordinated time, return by train and transfer to the hotel in Cusco. Accommodation.
