• Cusco - Our Cusco city tour offers an exploration of the city’s significant landmarks. We’ll commence at 1:00 pm with a pick-up from your Cusco hotel, followed by our tour.
• Cusco Cathedral - Our first stop is the Cusco Cathedral, an imposing stone structure constructed between 1560 and 1664. Within its walls, a plethora of Catholic religious art is housed, with the most notable being the paintings from the Cusco Art School.
• Coricancha - Our subsequent destination is the Convent of Santo Domingo, constructed atop the Inca temple of Qorikancha. Despite its transformation, remnants of the Qorikancha remain visible, including the Sun Temple, the Moon Temple, the Intipampa, the Solar Garden, and various other Inca ruins
• Sacsayhuaman - Next, our itinerary takes us to Sacsayhuaman, situated to the north of Cusco. Sacsayhuaman features massive stone walls encircling a hill, arranged in a zigzag pattern reminiscent of a fortress. Originally, the Incas utilized Sacsayhuaman as a temple devoted to the sun and thunder deities.
• Q’enqo - Following our exploration of Sacsayhuaman, we’ll venture to the nearby Inca site of Qenqo. The true purpose of Qenqo remains a mystery, with intricate stone carvings adorning some sections, resembling serpents.
• Tambomachay - Our next destination is Tambomachay, an ancient Inca site revered for its water rituals and known as a sanctuary for Inca nobility, boasting functional water fountains to this day.
• Puka Pukara - Our final stop is Puca Pucara, an Inca military outpost on the outskirts of Cusco, characterized by its red stone construction.
• Cusco - Return to Cusco, Hotel drop off.
