Amazing stay - Absolutely amazing. The Manu national park is amazing and a must see in Peru. Our tour was perfect. The accommodation are very basic but clean and comfortable. The food of our second night stay was also well above our expectation. We were expecting some basic food to survive in the middle of the jungle but we ended up with one of the best meals we had in Peru. The roads in the middle of the mountains can be quite dangerous but our driver was very careful and with a lot of years of experience. But what made our stay truly unforgettable was our guide, nickname, Taz. Everyone could see how much passionate he us about the park. He had tons of energy and he seemed even more excited than us every time we spotted something, even if he does this almost everyday. We walked a lot and did not one but two night walks. He answered all our questions and spoke a perfect English, and also a decent Italian and German as well. His curiosity and will to learn makes him a wonderful guide.

Absolutely recommend! - Unique experience! We've seen a lot of animals. Unfortunately, neither otters nor spectacled bears or Pumas. Mostly birds. Overall very impressive.

3 days in Manu Park - It was three very well spent days in the middle of nature! Guia José always handled the entire logistics with great care and attention. He used his vast knowledge of the region and animal life, to let us know various species of fauna and flora. It was a fantastic experience. Advice!!

Great experience - We had a wonderful experience. Our guide Nicholas was extremely knowledgable about the history of the park, its inhabitants, and the plants and animals. There was not a time where a question was asked where he did not offer a detailed answer and offer context to the question. That spoke to the clear sense of affection and reverence he has for the land, its peoples and plants. He showed deep concern for sustainability and the protection of the land. We came away both more informed and humbled. We also found out that we were capable of more- we found ourselves able to be more active than usual. Driven by curiosity, the itinerary kept us engaged and in the go, while also not being too much and offering times to relax. The trip was perfect for the amount of time we had. The support at the lodges was excellent, the food surprisingly satisfying and the accommodations more than sufficient. The drive afforded us a great overview of the countryside, and a chance to see Peruvians moving through their daily rhythms. Big shoutout to our drivers. The care and skill behind the wheel was very appreciated. Those are not easy roads to navigate and we felt safe with their skills. Our group was fun and friendly and everyone worked together to make it a fulfilling experience. Indeed, we’ll miss them! We’d recommend this experience to everyone.

Awesome jungle , awesome trip , but first day not fun - It was great overall - food was perfect , trips in the jungle was awesome , nightwalk jungle was highlight - Jose was awesome guide - recommended , we also see some animals and have a little bit of taste of jungle life The only let down was the first day - going down the road and watching animals with binoculaears - where cars and motorcycles are riding was not fun and instead of fresh air you breath fumes from cars and dust from road - my opinion if we skipped this and go straight to the jungle - it would be 5/5

Worth considering - We did the three day Manu national park tour. We enjoyed it, although there were very early starts every day and the days were long. The guides were very knowledgeable and the food was good. The first lodge was really good, with private bathrooms (cold water only), power and it even had wifi. There were a few problems: - at the second lodge the rooms also had private bathrooms, but the rooms were in pairs with only a partial wall between, so you could hear everything that happened in the adjoining bedroom and bathroom. It was quite awkward - the van that was used to take us out to Manu was fine, but on the way back there was even less space between the rows of seats then you would get on a plane. Even average-height people had to sit slightly twisted because there wasn’t room for their knees straight ahead. It was very uncomfortable for an eight hour ride - at the start of the trip we had been picked up from our hotel, but at the end we were taken to a plaza near the Vilca office instead. We had no idea this was going to happen, and were expecting to be returned to the place we had been picked up from. Our hotel was several kilometres away. The guide was very unhelpful and shouted at us, but eventually agreed to take us back to where we had been picked up from
