AIRPORT PICK UP- CITY TOUR

Cusco -

• A representative will be present to greet you upon your arrival at the airport and facilitate your transfer to the hotel.
• Enjoy a free morning to relax and adjust to the altitude.
• At 2:00 PM, you will be collected from your hotel for the City tour. The first destination is Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), where you will partake in a 45-minute guided tour before proceeding to the vehicle.
• Following a 30-minute drive, we will arrive at Sacsayhuaman (from Quechua saqsay = ‘place to be satiated’ and waman = ‘falcon’, meaning ‘Place where the hawk is satiated’), where a 1-hour guided tour awaits.
• Next, we will explore Qenqo (a ceremonial site within a rocky landscape), a location imbued with mysticism that becomes palpable upon entering the rock formation.
• A 15-minute drive later, we reach PucaPucara (the ‘red fort’), a military structure.
• The final stop is Tambomachay, also known as the ‘Bath of the Inca’, where rituals involving water were conducted. Following our excursion, we will return to Cusco by vehicle, with an estimated arrival time of 7:00 pm.
