Our day begins at 8:45 AM, 10:45 AM, and 12:45 PM, with a meeting at our office, located 20 minutes north of Liberia downtown, passing through the charming villages of Colorado and Curubande.
From Curubande, a 4WD vehicle will take us 1 km to the entrance of the waterfall trail, where the hike commences.
The waterfall is nestled on the outskirts of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. The trail is a 1.7-mile (2.7-kilometer) single track, making it a total of 6 km. The hike includes some elevation climbs and caves to traverse. To reach the waterfall, a 25-meter swim is required.
