One of the best parks in Australia - This park was one of the best ones in Australia! Lots of healthy-looking animals, interesting talks and shows. Our favourite part was Lost Valley, it was like walking into Jurassic world, very nice set up, we got told the lemurs and the birds was unusually quiet at the point we went there due to storm building up but we stayed around for the "Lost Valley talk" and got to see heaps of Lemurs later on, then we went on the second talk next door "rainforest talk" in the same area where we learnt heaps about the red panda etc. It was fantastic to see the tree kangaroo as well, and of course lots of koalas. We also noticed that most of park is shaded or partly shaded, which was great! We spent a a full day at this park, and we noticed it was a train going throughout the park however we decided to walk instead. Other good stuff, clean, well-maintained park, friendly staff especially the volunteers, conservation-focus, great food, natural-style looking park.

Great opportunity to see animals - Lorikeet feeding was so fun. Staff were great to help attract the birds to us. The kangaroos were fun to feed and the day we were there lots of koalas that were actively moving around. Without going activities we were there about 4 hours. Fun experience

A Fun-Filled Day at the Gold Coast Wildlife Park 🏞️ - We recently visited the Gold Coast Wildlife Park and had a fantastic time exploring the grounds. Although we didn't participate in any specific activities, we enjoyed the extra time to wander and discover the park's offerings. The park's smaller size means fewer animals overall, including kangaroos, but this also makes it easy to navigate. We found that 3-4 hours was sufficient to cover the entire park. To avoid lengthy walks, we took advantage of the convenient hop-on hop-off train, which efficiently covers the park's grounds. The staff were friendly and courteous, adding to our positive experience. We encountered numerous iguanas throughout the park, but they didn't pose a nuisance. Notably, the reptile collection was somewhat limited, considering Australia's reputation for its diverse reptile population. Unfortunately, we missed the opportunity to see the wiper, but the park's other animals, including the well-presented farm animals, made up for it. The on-site café offered a convenient spot to grab coffee and lunch. One drawback was the noise from overhead flights, which disrupted the peaceful atmosphere and potentially disturbed the animals. We hope the aviation authority will consider rerouting flights to minimize this impact. Overall, our visit to the Gold Coast Wildlife Park was a wonderful experience. If you're an animal lover visiting the Gold Coast, be sure to add this attraction to your itinerary.

A fantastic day except this isn't for people with physical challengers - I visited Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed our day there. From the Lost Valley to the Wild Bird Show, it was a fantastic day spent amoung nature and animals. My only cripe was there was barely any benches to stop and have a rest on. In fact, I don't think we counted more than 3 in this huge park. Why the management has not installed numerous "rest spots" for the elderely or phyically challenged beggings belief. I was quite disappointed to also hear from one of the volunteers that they have been trying to "nudge" management to install benches/seating areas for people, however tey've had no such luck. It's just crazy. Luckily for us, we were still able to have lots of fun in the park however we think twice abut coming back in the heat of summer

Keep ya eyes open. You never know what you see - Choose a good day that isn't so stupidly hot (36). Was a great place to visit. Great staff, great animals. Didn't see it all because I took the train at the beginning. So missed a lot got a little lost.seeing the lizards just walking around was very cool The walk back was beautiful. Definitely worth the visit and the drive from Brisbane was awesome. Just stick to the right lane lol

Disappointed - Was expecting so much more. It's called a sanctuary but felt more like a zoo/theme park Loved all the animals, but some of the enclosures were too small, especially the dingo enclosure. The food options weren't good at all, no vegetarian or vegan options that didn't help me at all Having to pay for a car park was very disappointing as well I did love the bird show, very educational. I think the sanctuary needs to focus mor2 on the animals then pleasing the younger generation with things like tree top walks. At the end of the day ita about the animals and not the people

Pretty rundown and disappointing (and costly once inside) - We came here expecting to see a lot and was actually quite disappointed. There is lots to see, but it felt really sadly maintained. The animals don't have a lot of space to run around and many just pace up and down. Every animal you want a photo with is a paid photo. The free flight bird show was great. The food costs in the park were steeper than Wet and Wild and Movie World. The place isn't easily laid out so you're always doubling back on yourself to get to a new area rather than a sequential / logical viewing order. We also enjoyed the dinosaur walk (but unfortunately it was half closed during the middle of the day whilst they installed some new lights). The app that goes with the walk was pretty sad and we gave up after the first footprint was found. You had to pay for parking as well (not a good start) and the shop (2 of them) at the end was pretty steep on prices too. The train was a nice feature to take you from one side to the other, but really frustrating that it stops when shows are running and so you're forced to walk if you're not doing the show. Direction signs were far and few between and we often had to ask for directions (even having a map with us). Glad we've ticked it off, but we're unlikely to return again.

Dissapointing Currumbin wildlife sanctuary - Went to Currumbin wildlife sanctuary today. Haven’t been for about 5 years so was hoping it had improved. No such luck. Train not working, many of the enclosures were closed and overgrown, the enclosures that were open you could not see any animals. The gardens were overgrown and the pathways were littered with leaves and debris. There were very few animals to see and the bird Avery there was only about a dozen common birds. For the cost of adult entry $70 it is not worth it. For the amount of money they make this place should be top class. I would only rate this place about 2 or 3 out of ten. Very dissapointing.

Not worth the price paid - Had better experience at Taronga Zoo Sydney. Bird show only 2 times a day. High chances of missing the show. 2.5-3 hrs max to cover the place. Not many shows. It's not worth the ticket price they are charging.
