Fabio-lous - Thank-you Fabio we had an amazing time on the east side of Madeira, there are so many locations we went to and little stops to see parts of nature and our guide was very good at talking in fact I think he never stopped talking which was great we learnt so much! My favourite was the traditional houses in Santana and how they are used (such an amazing family to maintain use of these and allow us to visit) lunch was amazing with exceptional views and such lovely people and no tour is complete without a visit to a good poncha bar. Our guide was such a fabulous driver, not one moment did we feel unsafe on the steep narrow roads whilst he told us about how the land is farmed in these areas and how the people on the island live, the whole day was interesting and relaxing and for those who need to know this there are toilet facilities at most stops so you can stay well hydrated. Thank-you 'Hit the road Madeira' we will very definitely be back. Absolutely book an excursion with this team you will have such a fantastic time if not one of the major highlights of your visit to this beautiful island.

Great day out on 4x4 tour of East Madeira. - The 4x4 tour with Victor was great. We saw so much over the day and he was always knowledgeable and helpful. Victor drove calmly and considerately which made the day relaxing for us. The Land Rover Discovery was an excellent vehicle for the trip.

Escape the rain with Hit the Road - Hugo had a good grip on the microclimate during our Jeeptour Madeira East. There was Plan B and even sunshine along the coast. Because of rain inland and my husband's walking difficulties, we skipped the Levada hike. The humor of Hugo and the many interesting stories about the country and people were worth the day trip (11:00 - 19:00). Thank you also for the funny Instagram videos! We would love to come back ... next time at sunset on Pico do Arieiro.

OMG! What a great way to see Madeira! - My tour guide, Fabio, was just as amazing as his reviews. He was very knowledgeable and taught me so much about his beautiful island, as well as introducing me to Madeiras local drink, Poncha! I highly recommend Hit the Road tours to see and learn about Madeira

Great guide adapted tour to suit conditions on the day - Great Guide/Driver and local places we visited. Weather on the day limited the high mountain section of the day as cloud was low.
